Thank u so much for sharing these tips! But i still have some doubts.... 1. For the supplementary essays, do i need to relate the contents with my prefered major or only need to emphasize my outsanding experience or personality like u mentioned? 2. U said we can write more concisely, so does it mean that we don't need to be descriptive, instead, we should reflect more with simpler words? Thx so much if u can reply!!!!!

HI Joy. I have heard by so many people to not write anything that has already been revealed in your common application. Does that mean for the supplementals I should go away from expanding on an activity that I enjoy doing and listed on my activities section

hey! I’m not totally sure, but I think it just means don’t repeat anything you wrote about in your common app essay. it’s totally fine if you want to write about an activity you listed in the activities section, but you probably shouldn’t write 2 essays on the same activity.

I have a question, what were your stats in high school and what was your SAT score? I really want to get into Emory, but I feel that my stats and scores are below average.

hi! there's a video on my channel called "how I got a full tuition scholarship to Vanderbilt" where I go over my stats in the beginning half. Emory also publishes stats about its recent accepted classes too, which are more representative + definitely worth a look. stats aren't everything though, so don't let it stress you out too much, and if you really want to go, it's always worth shooting your best shot :)
