What is the difference between slam poetry and spoken word poetry?

These tips!!! 🔥🔥🔥 also, spoken word poets learns 90% of their poems. And 10% of the time, some poets just reads it from their book or journal. A good example of a reader!poet is Shelby Leigh. An example of a spoken word poet is Rupi Kaur. And I do agree with reading aloud your poems if you are going to perform them. Also these can be acting tips too

I'm very inspired after watching your video! Thanks, this will really help a lot. I'm new to spoken word poetry, but I always loved writing. I'm honestly scared to write or perform in our activity, I feel like I wouldn't be good enough, so this video helped me to be more confident.
