Hi Steve , Could you do more spotlights like this ?!!? I love learning about guitar and music , it's all good but what good is it without learning about the song . The two go hand in hand and yet theres so little about the song from real writers perspective . Allen just showed how a few chords can tell a tale . I'll never be a virtuoso but I can be a song writer and for me at my age thats the blessing , all the rest of the deeper things in music are icing on the cake . The song is the cake . Artists are the bakers . Thanks and .... You Rock Pal , love what you do for guys like me

Hi Steve. Greetings from South-Africa. It's now winter here. This was such an inspiring show. I really love country music, and Randy Travis is one of my favorites. I will really look different at songs from now on, really pay attention to who wrote it and the story behind it. So glad I watch this show this morning. Allen is such a true, down to earth humble person. He has really inspired me today. Thank you for the great shows and lessons.

great info The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete
