There are many Tommy interviews all over the place, and somehow, he NEVER tires or telling and re-telling his stories. These are great stories, some historical and all important. Thanks Tommy for continuing to "submit" to these interviews. You're very generous with your time.

That is what Tommy does. He rules, and hides nothing while telling those stories on stage, and I'd bet that he would love to be de-throned, if only to find someone FUN, to work with as a peer.

" I'm trying to get good at it" had me in stitches. That was really great to watch. I'm a super-fan of Tommy anyway, if he ran for president of the world I'd vote for him. He always leaves me smiling and inspired. For me, this particular interview, I need to sort my guitars out. I've been living with their issues for far too long, they are embarrassingly far from set up correctly.

Steve's comment about famous players leaving an imprint of their DNA on you is important. We all improve not just because of our dedication and dogged determination to succeed but also through the inspiration of others. We need those rare individuals who motivate us to follow our passions and instil in us the will to become not just better players but, more importantly, better people. The old saying "If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants" rings true in every way when it comes paving the way for others to follow.

Absolutely! I’ve heard him say in interviews that he believes he has a calling and you have to wonder.
