I really need to tell a ''inspirational'' story, or atleast i hope and think it can be for some. I want to start out and say that i learned how to Zorro for about 2 weeks ago, iam 32 years old and i work as a teacher on a school for kids in the ages of 6-13. It actually was a 10 year old kid at the school i work that learned me how to zorro. This kid is insane, probebly as good as Pavel with the zorro moves. The funny thing is, this kid learned me the basic move, how to get it from the ground into the zorro and then swing it 1 time in one outdoor recess at the ''daycare'' activity thingy kids come to after school. (iam from Sweden) This kid is a little speacial, i think he is autistic. However he is AMAZING with all sorts of skill technics in every sport he tryes and he was an amazing teacher, he was very pedagogical, gave me tips and tricks from all ''angels'' and tryed different things on what could be the easiest way for ME to learn the basic move. Took me 1h to get the basic move done 80% of the tryes. What i mean by basic move is the same thing that Pavel show in the beginning of the video at 1:02 . Weirdly, the technice that worked the best for me was actually with 1 hand :O This was about 2 weeks ago, and i have been training the zorro move almost everyday on those ''daycare'' recesses for around 1h (Mon-Friday). It is a couple of days that i havent been abel to, sens iam a teacher and somtimes not got the time. I think i have spent around 6-7 hours training the zorro move and iam actually really good at it. I can zorro fluently, I can do all sorts of spins and turns mid air, going around players, zorro around the goal spin and go around the other side etc. Took me around 4h combained to learn the zorro fluently and be abel to do spins and place the ball in the net after. I also want to note that iam using a blade legal for floorball, the blade look like the one Pavel use in this video. If you want to master the zorro move and be abel to use it in your floorball games or whatever, you need to use a blade like this! if you use a blade with an insane curve you wont learn how to zorro for real. By using a super curved blade, you learn your muscle memory the wrong way and you dont get the same feeling and finess in your moves as you get with a ''regular'' zorro curve. its basicly like cheating. i have seen so many youtubers use these curves, i have herd so many kids at the school i work say that they know how to zorrow, and when i let them try, they cant even keep the ball in the cup at the ground and there moves just look messy and hasty. Afterwards they always say that they can do it with there own zoro blade that they made themself. This wont help you anything. Once you learned your muscle memory somthing its very hard to relearn it with somthing just slightly different. This is ofc if you want to be good at it, and want to be abel to zorro in a real game situation. I wanted to tell this ''story'' as a inspiration story for others, and i wanted to ''brag'' about that autistic kid that was such an amazing teacher! 10 years old, autistic, he is like a 5 years old in his mind and still tought me so well. He gave me a very strong foundation to stand on so i could practice and learn the rest on my own! That is probebly why i learned it and made such great progress in a very short time. Iam still a long way from mastering the zorro move myself and im going to keep practicing it. but it really get easier to progress when you get the feel for it! If you are here to learn how to zorro, just keep practicing and if you feel like you hit a wall, take a break and start over the next day! When you get the feel for it, you will progress fast. And dont worry if you dont learn it as fast as i did. iam 32 years old and i have been playing hockey and floorball sens i was a kid, so i have had alot of time practicing my stick handling. I Will end the ''book'' here, sorry about the messy english, got tierd towards the end and english is not my native language

I once was at a practice session, we used the rink belonging to an in-line hockey club. Some Swedish guys came to play a tournament there and one guy practiced a bit with us. He took my spare as there were no other left handed sticks. He then did a zorro with my absolutely standard hardly hooked unihoc evo2 bladed stick. It was awesome to watch. This stick was terrible really, and he made it look like child’s play.

Just skate a lot. I mean a lot. Even John Scott used to do tons of skating routines. Start using a jump rope. These arent very in depth tips but hopefully it helps

+sukhshizzle You can use zorro. However tricks must be below waist height and on penalties you must not move the ball backwards. Watch someone like Runnestig on KZbin :)

+Francis Toupin (topin117) Well it can certainly help but if you really want to be good at hockey I think you should just stick with hockey. A lot of the elements are the same but in hockey skating is the most essential thing and floorball lacks that. I think you can get a bit more agile and more nuanced but the puck acts quite differently to a ball

6v6 would probably be very boring because there would be so little free space so there would be a lot less goals. If anything it could be more enjoyable if it was played 4v4. Atleast overtimes should be played 4v4 but theyre 5v5 in Finland

Jansk1h it is 5v5 all our the world in floorball, maybe not in america but they dont know anything about floorball. There arent any pro-leagues there either. 5 a side is the best in my opinion. I've played 4 a side in lots of my trainings and it isnt as fun as a real 5 a side game.

It depends on wich team that meets each other, Sweden is probably the best team in the world right now but its really even compared to finland. I like it more when there isnt to many goals and a really intense game wich is really even. 5v5 is perfect in my opinion :)
