Guevara also supposedly was the reason the TNAEW partnership fractured as he was at an IMPACT Taping to be in Tag Team Action but tried to change it into going over one of their Top Stars. Already in a one-sided working relationship (TK made it where IMPACT wasn't allowed to get back at TK and Schiavone's bullying and have yet to allow another company to win their Titles despite being allowed to win other companies' Titles) this was the seen as the last straw and Guevara was kicked out of the Tapings (reportedly TK did the right thing and punish Sammy for this though it doesn't seem to have done much). Now TNA is in a mutual relationship with WWE and both Companies are thriving and growing whereas AEW is starting to shrink and have yet to produce an annual Net Gain in Profits due to TK spending way too much money.

So I do actually agree on that part with you but he isn’t building new stars either that what Vince did as well towards the end! The only person new that was built and truth he did it on his own was MJF, that kid for many years before he even made it to AEW I knew he was gonna be huge eventually! But these other guys that got over with the fans organically he botched! Look at all those talents that has jumped to WWE from AEW they all have shined 10x better since coming in! Man I’m just wanting AEW to survive and lately they seem to be getting it together and I hope they continue to do so because we need another promotion besides WWE to keep wrestling healthy for these guys and girls we all like have places to go and make some decent money plus keep the product jumping so we can enjoy watching our favorites! AEW has a bunch of my favorites from around the world and they need that platform not every can go to WWE and plus as we see WWE is also trying to build there very own stars from scratch and we see it has worked for many so hopefully AEW can figure out the same because TK has had a habit of hiring these people will showcase em for the first few months and then they get lost in the sauce! They both have a lot of talented people on there roster that are lost! They need to showcase some of em better I get there is limited TV time but they need to help figure out some how a way to keep these talents in rotation which allow em TV time and a chance to get over with the crowds so these newer stars are created if not then there isn’t a point in hiring em all like they doing!

Jack Perry is now moving into his own as a credible heel. The Bucks have really helped him establish this, and it's working. Allen has always been a pillar, and pairing up with Sting for a long period was actually fruitful for AEW and Allen. Sammy, on the other hand, has been getting into a lot of trouble backstage, and then he took a paternity leave plus was injured. Sammy is now starting to get back into things, maybe he's learned his lesson. Adam Cole, honestly, the whole thing with Britt and him and that leaving a sour taste is showing one is going to leave soon. I think it's Britt who leaves and gets out of wrestling for good and goes back to being a dentist. Wrestlers like Samoa Joe have made a bigger name for themselves in AEW than in WWE. The same thing. Swerve is still young, and I would say he's the backbone of the new pillars. Every company is going to have to adapt; it's like that in real life, too, and each person is going to make an impact in their own way. As of right now, I think the new pillars are Osprey, Okada (even though he is older), Allen, Perry, and potentially a few others. Starks is also a dear friend of Cody Rhodes, and Starks wants to go to WWE, too. He has made this well known. Tony is just letting do just that, maybe the grass is greener on the other side, maybe it's not, and Starks will be back in AEW in 3-5 years. You can probably also include Ricochet into this mix, too, but he's not there yet but will be. Osprey and Okada, for example, are non-WWE guys, they are NJPW guys, which is exactly the attitude Tony Khan follows. He doesn't want to follow the gimmicks of WWE, and I applaud that. Be the alternative.

"How TONY KHAN is ruining AEW's Homegrown Stars" is a click bait title, if I've ever seen one. And the video is not at all, what the title suggests: Ricky Starks: mystery Powerhouse Hobbs: injured Wardlow: mystery Darby Allin: maybe still in the world title picture Sammy Guevara: backstage issues Jack Perry: still there There is no talk about Tony Khan ruining anyone. His name is just in the title for the haters - for some WWE hate-baiting. Watching the video, you can't even say, that anyone was ruined and AEW isn't talked about negatively. The closest you can get to a ruination is with Ricky Starks and Wardlow and we just don't know, what is going on there. This video focuses only on 6 homegrown "stars", ignoring all the others, that are flourishing.

@@ericsmith3936 Swerve / Hangman? Omega / Hangman? MJF / Punk? Your narrative only seems to work, when you want it to. Whenever a great story comes along, you probably credit it to the wrestlers. I could give a long list of reasons why AEW sucks but it all comes down to Tony Khan. AEW has tons of potential but as long as the money mark is booking stuff only he thinks is cool, the company will never succeed. That AEW has botched the booking of guys like Wardlow and Ricky Starks shows you how totally oblivious Khan man is. Meanwhile, he'll keep heavily pushed the Dumb Bucks and LameMan Page who will never amount to a single thing. And the people in Khan's inner circle won't tell him the blunt truth about the state of AEW. Mind you, AEW has guys like Jim Ross, Jeff Jarrett, and Jake Roberts who could all be contributing to AEW creative and Khan is a damned fool not to use them.

2 cents, 1 AEW /tony do not and will not and doesn't know about booking big men 2 AEW /tony and staff can't and won't recognize the value of pushing to the limits and beyond... BUT! they are trying at least they did samoa joe is example 1 and Strikland is example number 2... THEN... now that you talk about homegrown stars ... MJF is the only left standing and maybe example number 3 ... because any other is buried or out of a consistent booking that make them look GROWING!

Yeah this was dog shit. Hangman (who is homegrown) has 2 top 5 feuds (at worst) with the Omega and Strickland feuds respectively. MJF has the longest reigning AEW Championship reign. Perry is TNT Champion and was just the co main-event at All Out. Guevara has had many, many controversies (the then Sasha Banks comments, injuring Jeff and Matt Hardy on SEPARATE occasions, backstage drama with Andrade, backstage drama with Eddie Kingston, etc.)- Sammy is no saint- and I say this as a Sammy Guevara fan. Wardlow isn't "young" (contrasted with the names you classified as "young" such as Allin, Hayter and Perry). AEW has certainly not managed Wardlow well, that may be the sole point in this video that holds weight. The title of this video is "How TONY KHAN Is Ruining AEW's Homegrown Stars"- sixteen minutes of clickbait.

AEW as a whole needs a wholesale reboot . -Alot of their wrestlers need to reboot or tweak their gimmicks . -The commentary team needs new blood too .why not hire guys like Maven and Steven Richards to become face commentators . Then perhaps Jericho and Ryback as heel commentators . -They should release Brian Cage ,Johnny Tv and Taya Valkyrie . They just do not fit in and I reckon they will be better off on TNA . Miro is a WWE talent through and through and I think Hel be better off there ,that is if they want him there. -They should get rid of ROH & Collision and just have 2 Brands namely Rampage and Dynamite . Each show would have its own set of title belts and roster . ROH can live on in the form of ROH world title being exclusive to Rampage while unifying the other belts with their AEW equivalents . -AEW has to fight tooth and nail to sign Bobby Lashley . He has the the credibility to give Wardlow the rub . Reveal that Moxley,Castagnoli and that Cynthia Rothrock sidekick of his are mercs serving an "Almighty " Power which explains their recent rampage over the roster . Then Bobby comes in and squashes Bryan and then goes on to have a reign of terror run where goes through the roster and that can be used to write out the wrestlers who should be released by AEW anyway. After Lashley goes on a tear ,a certain Wardlow emerges to take on the Dynamite tyrant .... also Put the ROH title on Big Bill immediately by having him beat Briscoe . and bring in Enzo Amore to be his ally . Lashley would rule Dynamite as AEW world champ while Big Bill rules Rampage as ROH World Champ . Then position Wardlow as the face who stands up to Lashley while positioning Will Ospreay who stands up to Big Bill on Rampage. -Plus they will need new theme songs for Rampage and Dynamite. Rebirth by Skillett is the perfect theme song for Rampage . Invincible by Skillett is the perfect theme song for Dynamite .

I've turned my back on WWE permanently for a number of reasons, the foremost of which is what I perceive as their hypocrisy. I'm no moralist, but it disgusts me that the company that launched the "Attitude Era" - and has never truly left it behind - now bills itself as the champion of "family" and other pro-social values. (Just entertain us, okay?) AEW is what got me regularly watching wrestling again. But while I do think AEW is very good when it's at its best, they have still disappointed me in a number of ways. For one thing, they can't seem to leave "Attitude" behind either. As much as I admire Jon Moxley as a wrestler, as a character he reminds me too much of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and I think he's been pushed too hard as a main-eventer. "Absolute" Ricky Starks, meanwhile, reminds me too much of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. AEW need to work harder on their originality. The bigger disappointments have been Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Sammy Guevara. They set up a major conflict between MJF and Adam Cole, but now it's just fizzled out. And I'm impatient for Guevara to become world champion; I really thought that 2024 was going to be the Year of the Spanish God! Guevara would be excellent as either a face champion or a heel champion. Then there are the other missed opportunities. Swerve Strickland was built up as a face champion, even though he's much better as a heel. A rivalry was teased between Santana and Ortiz, but nothing came of it and then Santana left. Konosuke Takeshita has been seriously underused. And I'm one of the biggest CM Punk fans you can imagine, so I'm bitterly disappointed by his return to WWE. There do exist some bright spots. Will Ospreay is very likeable and should be pushed straight to the top. The Young Bucks make wonderful corporate scumbags. And "The Glamour" Mariah May is proving to be an even better character than "Timeless" Toni Storm ever was. Even though she's British, she comes across as very American to me in style. She reminds me of the various femme fatale actresses of 1990s Hollywood, from Sharon Stone to Alyssa Milano.
