So I was assuming if I wasn’t catching fish, it was because they weren’t around. But they sure seem to be there, just not biting what I’m offering…. I’ll try different colors next time. Where do you get your crappie tubes. I can only find 1 1/2 inch. I did order a pack of 2 inch pearls but they were short and thin. Not thick like yours

You can get 1.5". I recommend that you use 1/32 or 1/16oz jig head. You can get crappy tube from Fin and Feather n Cabela. You go and find the crappy tube where they sell Voodoo jig next to fly fishing stuffs (Fin n Feather). You can get pearl. I saw some 2" pearl crappy tube at Cabela or you can wait to get my newly design crappy tube. Thank u.

Excellent video my friend. What factors help you decide what colors to use? Is it a guessing game or is there something more to it?

You can say A GUESSING GAME when it comes to colors. Steelhead are so picky fish of all fishes in the water. There are times of the day that they bite certain things. That is why I show you ways to have different colors of jig heads on the same crappy tube. I have experienced using five different colors in one hour. I started it with silver jig head and chartreuse crappy tube, white jig head with chartreuse crappy tube, pink jig head with chartreuse crappy tube, red jig head with once again chartreuse crappy tube, n chartreuse jig head with chartreuse jig head for one hour. Nothing bites. I then switched back to silver jig head with chartreuse. They crushed that color. I nailed 5 under 30 n gone. I fished with many people using different baits, One day there 8 fishermen fishing side by side each other, but one guy used live minnows. He kept catching the steelhead every cast. So I like to switch different colors every 10 to 15 mns. If they like certain color of that time of that day, trust me, n I got em every cast. Thank
