Arrma is on a rampage. It's a terrible time to be a Traxxass fanboy. I can't imagine how it must feel watching Arrma release all these great trucks this last year and half while only getting the snap on car, Max Slash, mini Max, and a dumb boat from Traxxass. I know the feeling because I used to be one of them. Thank goodness for that $399 Fireteam sale a couple few years ago that opened my eyes.

Actually it feels great to be a Traxxas fan. I get outstanding customer support. I call traxxas, they don't ask questions or for pics or anything. They just send replacement parts. Had a brownout on my Kraton which caused it to be badly damaged. They wanted 10 pictures, a written description, then it had to be passed to upper management. Little ridiculous. I have all brands, traxxas, arrma, Losi, team associated etc. Arrma Fanboys are the worst I must say. Worse than Mustang guys😂😂. Also, let's be honest here. Arrma doesn't have any competition for the Xmaxx or the XRT.

Listen it actually runs alot deeper traxxas held back cars like Arrmas for a good decade , imagine how many kids never got a Rc because only upper middle class Santa’s bring 500/1000 Rcs and all ones cheaper now is only because they had no choice . We would all have traxxas or nothing and that’s what been happening behind the scenes prior to few year ago . They put everything into protecting their product while everyone else looked to use newer technology even though most companies are making minimal profits trying to come up in Rc world 🌎, soon as they’re established guess what happens. ? Well this model business model” is finally over with and cats out of the bag . I do appreciate some of traxxas cars , there’s things you don’t realize unless you Rc everyday . Nothing like a new kraton , with decent skills it be hard pressed to match the experience. You get better drive faster which in turn wears things out faster . It’s generally a race design so as loses tolerances you going lose precision and than durability. With maxxes they never going be that precise even new but way more forgiving in the long run . By time an arm oblongs a arrma there’s going be alot parts with wear on the maxxes really not as important and simpler in that sense . Arrma are larger beefier cheaper metals full blown Race Rcs plain simple

This will be my next Arrma. I’m a nube. I just got started with a Typhon Grom blx. I then picked up a Granite 3s and completed my very first skatepark bash today. I successfully landed my very first backflip! Lots of trial and error learning in air throttle control, and nothing broke!

They’ve increased the price vs the last one. Here in Canada the EXB is only $100 more. The aluminum diff housing are worth more than that alone plus you get better shock towers and metal tower braces. Hope they come out with a V6 EXB with the clipless body.

Never thought i'd own multiple 6S kratons. After this upcoming firmware update, do I have to gear down my EXB V2 from 15 teeth back down to a stock 13 tooth? This new ESC mapping has generated immense power, Exo was doing 5 damn backflips with Notorious and you were hitting doubles with ease off an uneven jump LOL.

I'd recommend against it.. buttttt... No better way into the hobby than face first 😅 I'd still start with an Arrma 3S truck if your choice as your first truck. You can run it on low speed settings until you get used to it. Lots of fun, good handling, super forgiving, cheap parts, easy to work on. And when you're ready, toggle to 100% power for 50 mph fun. But that's just me! You can run this 6S beast on 50% power, but we're still talking 30 mph with a pretty big truck. So it's still a beast and definitely not good for kids (or uncoordinated adults 😂) so definitely choose wisely! No need for stepping stones if you are coordinated already! But if not, I'd definitely start smaller and cheaper to test the waters lol

Some people do get Kratons or XMaxxs as a first. Operators of this type of vehicle need to be safety-first conscience around animals, pedestrians, bicyclists, vehicles, etc. since they are essentially 65mph bowling balls. Any beginner buying this should start slow (like a 4s battery on 50% throttle in an open area) until they build enough environmental awareness and driving skill to handle more power.

🔥 Jaytee I honestly think when the Kagama came out it made the rest of the brands think about what just happened to them And now look what they well the top two continue to drop lately Your really telling us this is what a 150amp’d esc can do with the same motor you’ve been giving us with 6s rigs What punch was you running on pls Jaytee have you had fun with max punch yet This newer version of the kraton could be a problem for other 6s monster truggy u know I thought the sledge was quick out the box Now this badboy is looking like it’s been let out off the leash and mullering anything in sight Those major tumbles you had here were enough to make the previous kratons just Quit😁😁 All this power from an update to the esc ⚡️ It’s like Arrma heard when every1 would do 16t stock anyway up from wheezy 12 and complain about esc thermo or motor overheating 🥵 I was trying to think which other 150 amp esc came like what we all saw here but I couldn’t think what would take such a load and not thermo or stutter at all I thought the corally 185 torox but this just took everything you threw at it I’ve seen it do triple backflips all stock😉👌🏿 I wonder what size pinion would be actually needed next if 65 is out the box and also 85 mentioned with 100c lipo😉😁🤤🤤 I’m guessing with perfect variables 🌅 What a bash here Jaytee Thanks G👊🏿

Here in Australia, we can't get anything traxxas because the supplier is an ass hat. They never bring enough cars in. We won't see the mini maxx for at least 2 more months. But we get these today...3 weeks after their initial release.

Better chassis and shock towers and gears than the sledge..just bought the sledge on sale only to turn it into the m2c jack hammer why they used that awful motor mount system that comes stock on the sledge is horrible that why im going m2c before even running! I think this new arrma is next!
