I am a Certified TRE® Provider, and in a session recently I was asked how TRE has changed my life personally, so I thought it might be an opportunity to share it with you all. I have spoken in a separate video about how it helped get rid of my back pain and sciatica ( • How TRE® Can Relieve L... ). In this video I go into a lot more personal detail including how it has affected my relationships, levels of happiness and dare I mention it - spirituality. I'd like to add that everything I shared in this video happened over a year+ period, with regular TRE practice and no expectations of any particular outcome. So if I can offer one suggestion, it's to approach TRE with a beginners mind and let go of any expectations of what it will do for you. Try it with regularity and curiosity and find out for yourself.

Thanks a lot Christine for putting in words so naturally and simply how TRE has changed your life. I can literally "copy-paste" what you are sharing, as all the benefits you are describing are also what I have experienced over the last 3 years of regular TRE practice! Having said that, one element that has become much clearer to me is that self-regulating my nervous system with TRE became much easier, smoother, more efficient and sustainable through having regular experiences of co-regulation with TRE providers. Having accompanied sessions by certified and very adequate TRE providers (wether in private and collective sessions) was a major asset in my own healing journey. Our brains and nervous systems are wired for co-regulation, and this component has become much clearer to me. Again many thanks to you ❤

Hi, can I please ask your advice about whether or not to do TRE if I’m feeling fatigued? Will it help or hinder? If I have an odd day of fatigue I skip it but I go through periods of fatigue that last days or weeks (sometimes months) and I then don’t want to skip it for that long but I’m worried in case it’s to much for my body at that time. I’ve tried googling this question but can’t find anyone talking about it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your content ❤

I really understand what you say, because I have passed by the same process. But I would say that people who didn't, won't understand in depth what you said here.

Yes, this is quite likely. This will resonate mostly with those who need to hear this right now.

Hi Christine, I am so glad to see this. I am a TRE provider in Montreal, Canada. I am starting a project to interview people who have done TRE long term. Would this be of interest to you?

Hi Christine, thank you so much for your inspiring videos about TRE! How long does it take for you practicing TRE until you noticed any improvement in your burn-out symptoms?
@ChristineWehrmeier
@ChristineWehrmeier 10 ай бұрын
Hi @heinoheinersen6823, thank you and you're welcome 🙂, I cannot possibly say because every BODY has a different history and lifestyle. This is a journey of befriending your body and healing. Regular practice, patience and curiosity are important - but so is not overdoing the TRE practice - it's important not to push your body to heal. People with burnout are often overachievers and work hard, this ethic doesn't work with healing. Your whole lifestyle plays a role here. I took 2 years out to rest, heal and completely change my life so that it supports my wellbeing. This is best way I can answer your question.

You mentioned that you practice Yoga, have you felt any of the TRE shaking while practicing yoga? Because I do, a lot, when practicing Yin Yoga, it is even much more effective than the traditional TRE exercises.
@ChristineWehrmeier
@ChristineWehrmeier 9 ай бұрын
Yes absolutely. At some point we will start to discover how this happens in all different contexts, we just didn't know what it was before. I love combining Yin Yoga with TRE, it's currently my favourite way. I don't do the TRE exercises anymore - they are just a learning tool at the very beginning. 🙂

Hello Christine, firstly, thank you very much for your answer, I was very happy to know that I am not the only one who not only understands TRE potential, but also could find a way to enhance its effectiveness by using other means. I wonder if we should inform Dr Berceli about our "discovery"?! I couldn't yet find a video addressing too this connection, that's why your answer was so important, if you know any material in KZbin about it please let me know. Or perhaps you could do a video about it... 😄

@@mikoliker He's aware of it, he helped to create Neurogenic Yoga 🙂- I think maybe I should clarify that the point of TRE is not the exercises, the whole point is to return to that natural place were we shake/tremor spontaneously. Your body simply remembers what it was designed to do. Once you have experienced regular tremoring, there is no need to do any exercises at all. Experienced TRE practitioners can tremor spontaneously when we want. Many TRE providers are also trained in other modalities and combine it together. The options are endless 🙂

Right, I understand what you say,... Is that just because I had to discover it by myself without any other help rather than seeing videos on KZbin, so I feel like a pioneer in the wilderness... My country's conservative mentality and my family environment, both so far away from these new health approaches, just transmit this sense of strangeness, fascination, and, in a certain way, lack of knowledge about these things. Many thanks for you time 🙏

It's really interesting what you say about "spirituality." I only heard about TRE when actually listening to someone's awakening story (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oabUnnePjtN_iaM). I've been looking into this kind of non-dual awakening stuff for a little over a year, and this person seemed to get a lot out of TRE. I've know that I've repressed a lot of stuff, but being an introvert and so "in my head" (as opposed to in touch with emotions), I don't believe talk therapy would do a lot for me - I was in therapy as a teen and it didn't. So I was really excited that I could kind of approach this stuff from the "back door" so to speak. I've only been doing it for a little over a week, since seeing a certified teacher. I haven't had the sudden significant changes you seem to mention here, but I've also been meditating for years, so wonder if that has also chiseled away at some of this stuff. I'm hoping that both together will really multiply the effects and help in all the areas you talk about. Thanks for sharing, and I've enjoyed your other videos showing your sessions! 🙏❤

Thank you for your comment and sharing.🙏I relate to what you say about talk therapy, it never helped me whereas non-verbal/somatic therapies such as TRE have been so powerful. I just want to add that everything I talked about in this video happened over a year+ period and the journey is still unfolding. Sometimes my nervous system brought up some turbulence but I focussed on staying grounded which I learnt through my TRE training. It's great that you've learnt it with a certified teacher - I wish you a beautiful journey of unfolding! 🌸☺
