All the times, I ran my THF out to Jaggedy-Eared Jack and spent hours to pop at least 2+ of them, when Squeenix showed the chart and I realized my THF was roughly doubling- to nearly tripling the drop rate... but even triple of _nothing,_ is still _nothing._ ☹ (well, mathematically, it meant one would get the drop in 72 kills... Lets just call it _"less than 100",_ instead of the original 200-ish) Oh well~

I'm enjoying your videos, I got back into FFXI December 2021-May 2022 on Retail and had a blast. Previously played 2003-2012. Keep thinking about getting in again, I just don't have the time at the moment.

They should have helped people and helped the game and released that chart in 75 era. There was SO MUCH they could have done in the 75 era that they could have done to make the game better, it frustrates me that they did not and almost let the game die for XIV.

Yes! Both the official servers which are extremely full of content and modern MMO tweaks, and recently a very well populated private server known as "Horizon XI"

:) Treasure Hunter huh... that... is the most Misterious thing ever in Vanadiel. many and many ppl has done multiple tests including myself and of all theories.... IT keeps being a Total mistery and i doubt there are atleast s few ppl that realy gets it. Treasure hunter theories its one facinating thing to get into :).

Feint is in retail, where you can proc further tiers of TH. In retail you can go to 8 with gear, from there you "proc" 9, 10, 11 etc. If you look at the chart you can see how that effects drop rate. Feint helps you proc with a higher success rate

Interesting info. SE has come out and said in the past that every level of TH doesn't increase drop rates, it increases how many treasure rolls you get. So let's look at a land crab in south Gustaberg. You are either getting rock salt and/or land crab meat or nothing. Someone with TH4 would get the initial base treasure roll PLUS 4 more. Which is why when you have TH you get more item drops in general from mobs. I've never seen them acknowledge it also increased drop rates until I saw this chart

idk if I said it during this video, but I like to call it "observable" drop rate. There's definitely drop slot shenanigans going on that I'm not 100% versed in, but the end result lines up with the data in this chart+ffxiDB.

I'm just getting started on Horizon and was thinking of going THF this time around. This really makes TH seem far far less valuable than I have always imagined it though so... maybe not.

Well the value of TH is unrivaled if you intend to farm items. Going from 5% to 10% is double the drop rate that any other job would have had in that same farm session.

I played 11 for 8 years. That chart isn’t accurate. I was endgame and my mains were BRD RDM WAR THF all 75 maxed merits. TH4 was basically TH2.2 That is common knowledge I quit 11 before 80 cap launched and I had all other jobs leveled to lvl 50 and I mean every job. Back when I was playing Kraken Club was selling for 600 million. And we had the only bard on our server with a Manteel +1 when it was selling for an easy 120 million, and relics cost about 3k US dollars. Yes player we’re selling their accounts based on relics they had and how many were completed
