The reality is, the 99% like how things currently are because they're on welfare and have it easy. Anyone who isn't on welfare is being reamed by taxes and struggling to live. Until the 99% want things to change for the better (end welfare and pay off all the national debt, and lower taxes), nothing will change so why would/should those 1% who want change stay and lose everything? @@DidierWierdsma6335 Young kid, sold on the American dream through countless exported American TV shows, movies etc., wanting to live the big life. Once you're an adult and want to start a family, you begin to realize how important it is to have basic human rights like universal healthcare, affordable higher education, paid parental leave, guaranteed sick pay, generous paid vacations, a social safety net etc., not to mention freedom from corruption, corporate media, gun violence, billionaire rule etc. Things Scandinavians and most Europeans take for granted. Jan 6th was my first big hint to leave. Seeing the normalization of the far right here since then, the personality cult forming around Trump and his eventual re-election was the final nail in the coffin. It reminds me of 1930s Germany and the personality cult around Hitler. At this point, there is very little Trump and Elon could do to lose the support of their base. They could shoot someone and their followers would believe it's a "witch hunt," or begin to justify why it wasn't a big deal. I don't see how this ends well. Unfortunately, the far right is doing quite well in Europe as well, but we're usually talking in the 20% range. Europe also doesn't have the same cults forming around a single leader, the widespread, ad-sponsored for-profit propaganda networks, and luckily, our parliamentary and runoff election systems make it much harder for a cult leader to actually ever gain power - Even then, like in Hungary, they are constrained by EU regulations.

@susanner35 When you pay the full taxes and lose the bulk of your money to the govt, you will realize that there's NEVER enough, that they'll always be demanding that you "pay your fair share". 50-75% is NEVER a 'fair share' but that's the actual reality in much of CANZUK & CUNA when you add up all the taxes including the levies that you have to pay. Why should those who work hard, lose everything just so the leeches can get their welfare "free money bro"? That's why people leave or simply opt for having low or no income as they lose the tax burden that was crushing them. Welfare and national debt are two things that shouldn't ever exist. You should only be able to rely on family - NEVER taxpayers!

Sure many choose to take unlawful substances, but others are unwittingly exposed to it by those who intentionally place it where innocents can unknowingly come into contact with it. Of the many things to downplay, this isn’t it. You have freedom of speech, of course, but you haven’t lived here through these past 4 years, and there are some things you shouldn’t downplay. You must know that this isn’t the only thing coming through that is *iII*ng innocent American citizens, including children, yet you completely ignore that aspect, for obvious reasons; it goes against your gIobalist agenda.

@nomadcapitalist 💯 agree that the responsibility for drugs is misplaced. Addicts aren’t to blame either, though they can take responsibility also. Big Pharma and asleep MDs who keep prescribing, plus insurance companies that don’t pay much if any for proactive, effective drug-free care like Chiropractic etc. When surgeon was asked for informed consent Re: risks of percocets, he said “you’re not that type of person”. We are all susceptible to addiction wrt highly addictive substances! Sad situation to say the least!

I always told anyone who listens this about economies, that what's happening now is that we're going to lose trust and because of that we'll lose more trade and devalue our currency. Sure it's a bit down now, but it will hit the floor in a few decades if we keep on this path, and frankly it's sad knowing that despite the US being a bubble of marketing, it is a decent country to live in by standards of living wise vs where my fanily is from in Latin America, however it's not like time is static and things haven't changed for good and bad down there, so if anything happens at this point it might just be better to move my family to my parents home country until a better plan can be resolved.

It’s wild how no one wants to talk about drug demand-probably because that would mean admitting just how much America profits off its own people. And let’s be honest, American isolationism is like a bad plot twist you see coming a mile away but can’t stop. Also, did Indonesia joining BRICS happen in an alternate timeline? Because the lack of coverage sure makes it feel that way.

well china added the same level of tariffs to the US when those were officially initiated, so at this point evening the playing field doesn't exist. Usa trys it, other countries will rally to just hit back even at their own expense. Canada was going to if the tariffs initiated, sure they dodged that for now with negotiations that I'm semi certain theh were going to do anyways but that aside, the precedent is there. Also, American products aren't living in a vacuum. Sometimes, you just don't make it better than someone else, and who wants something worse?

After meeting with a QI it sounds like we can 1031 our rental properties to the USVI and, God willing, we can get a back up passport to a nearby country and a sailboat to get there if things get ugly. Thanks for the inspiration Andrew!

good for him! At least it will put an end to Israel's FALSE narrative about the hostages and about the war and save Palestinian people from further death and suffering. There is no war. Oct 7 is just a psyop to kick off the final genocide campaign which started in 1948. it's simply a genocide. Palestinians have no tanks, no guns, no military, no jets, no food, shelter, medicine, baby diapers, medical equipment or staff. It's a shooting gallery and prison camp for 2.4 million people, in which only 1 million remain. 34000 was what they said died last year, if you notice, the number 34000 didn't go up and every day there were bombings, in which the hospitals were also bombed and they stopped doing death tolls. Do the math.
