I did this with a logo that had already been cut out. My beach picture had a top view. If I drag the logo half on sand/half on water - it looks like the water is washing the logo away. Awesome effect that I didn't really want - happy accident :D

I did the same with a logo, and it did not work for me at all. : \ The sand I used was a lighter color and the image much larger. Meaning this effect doesn't work all that well when scaled up.
