i love this episode! had done my uni years in california and being a surfer to now building a business curated around leather products. it is so inspiring to know what UGG has gone through to become what it is today. Thank you Omar for bringing us another great interview.

Ugg boots were created by Australian Charlie Spencer and have been a household name here in Australia since the 1970's. Brian Smith is a thief, don't celebrate this fraud. www.abc.net.au/news/2016-08-27/sydney-ugg-boot-maker-suing-us-footwear-giant/7786578

Glad you interviewed an Aussie as they don't fluff it up. Great interview and questions. Goes to show that wete all normal every day people not superhumans and giving it a go, and trying out best PLUS its comforting to know shit happens to us all - but keep on going.

Fantastic interview, many chunks of amazing advice. The way you control the interview is very nice, allowing it to be interesting and easy to follow along with. I have been watching many of your interview's now and as an entrepreneur I find them supremely useful to listen to. Keep up the great work!!

I really had to dig into this interview again after having watched it the day prior to me making this comment. When I watched the first time I was seriously distracted and kept pausing it, but I was picking up on the lessons that were in the interview. When I woke this morning, I felt the urge to watch it again and I'm glad I did bc I picked up on everything, and this time I got something very powerful out of it, which is what Brian quoted about the story when he went to Montgomery Ward and they told him, "We're the elephant. We don't move until the mice start moving underneath us", this statement really resonated with me bc to me it means getting the smaller groups to move on your behalf and all of the larger influencers and authorities will come and find you...

Omar, you have five ad slots on this video. Thats five times my brain disconnected and wanted to move on. It was really hard to force myself to stay. Are you sure the ad revenue is more beneficial than viewers attention span and watch time?

Online Games Kingdom 🤘 hey brother! Glad you enjoyed the interview!! To answer your question, NO ad revenue is not more important than your attention, but we put a ridiculous amount of work ethic into creating this impossible interviews for you all, so if it costs a few ad slots in video, I hope you can understand 🙏❤️ - OMAR

I REMEMBER SELLING UGG BOOTS IN THE FORUM SHOPS IN CAESARS PALACE IN LAS VEGAS NV AT THERE PRIME TIME. THE STORE I WORKED IN WAS CALLED FOOTWORKS BY RALPH LAUREN AT THE TIME MAYBE STILL IS. THE BOOTS SOLD BETWEEN 125.00 -150.00 AND PEOPLE WOULD BUY THEM WITHOUT EVEN QUESTIONING THE PRICE. IF I HAD TO SAY HOW MANY PAIRS OF UGG BOOTS IN A MONTH WE SOLD I WOULD HAVE TO SAY AROUND 2800 DO THE MATH AND THAT WAS JUST 1 STORE OUT OF MANY NATIONWIDE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMETHING SELL CRAZY LIKE THESE UGG BOOTS I PERSONALLY THOUGHT AND STILL DO THEY ARE THE UGLIEST SHOES ON EARTH BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY THEY SOLD NOW THAT I HEARD THE STORY FROM THE MAN WHO STARTED IT ALL AND I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU BECAUSE I AM PART OF THIS STORY.
