it does seem like a sickness but this actually stems from our natural instinct to be competitive with other humans for procreation. it's in our DNA to want to be better than others. women do this all the time, to try to be more beautiful than other women. when you analyze this in modern times, it can seem like a sickness but it is still a basic evolutionary instinct that traverses through other facets in life.

You are courageous woman to have done this great sacrifice of distancing yourself for the sake of your child, which consequently is true family love, that is love of family at its best, mental illnesses are unfortunate incidents that our society needs to learn to handle yet, but this doesn't take away from the value of family, as a Christian I totally disagree with the Muslim ideology of losing our own identity, God didn't go through all that trouble, of making us so uniquely different, that no two people, have the same fingerprint, for no reason, variety is the spice of life, the lesson is learn from each other, not compite with each other, that is a lazy approach not to value our differences and learn to love each other with them. If the foundation is not set, healthy, strong….then no pursuits will bring the peace and joy they seek. It is interesting to navigate and treat their health issues, while also recognizing that I am human like them and we are not as separate as we seem. I love what I do because I get to channel the higher wisdom of the Creator to help reignite the inner wisdom of my patient so that they may come to these awakenings on their own. The human physical body manifests these imbalances caused by exactly what Sadhguru explains.

Yes. It's also tough because his mind has been molded a certain way. The American way. Something that I really appreciate in myself that I was carried in 2 different worlds... I feel that Guru S. Is also speaking his points very basic. So that those who do not understand, they can un entangle their minds and allow free form of thinking. We lack philosophers in these times and when we encounter one, it is hard for a guy like Howard, who we have VERY high percentage of, that instead of growing upon Gurus' conversation you stand and stay in understanding. I feel like that is also such an obstacle to overcome...kind of like having Autism. As simple as a Maria Callas video. How the people in the industry glorifyed her and also call out this and that...but they grow not just in understanding, they build upon it. So when they left the conversation not only did they understand & comprehend but were able to be on this wavelenght of thought and mentality. I wish I could personally speak to Mr. Guru. I also feel the english language is very limited to carry out a full term of spiritual converstation. However, Id like to congratulate Howard because his intention is pure and wishes to sincerly understand. Abundance...he's right...socially or more like physically relevant..this is what Im talkimg about... It's hard for someone like Howard or like anyone else to get. You have to be "bienaventurado/a".

@@cynthiac735 No. You have been brainwashed yourself. Not coming at you but I have heard this so much. It's not the truth. The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of peace should shine unto them. Research? Researching liers only yields lies. The King James Bible is the inspired words of God. Men could not have wrote this without inspiration of God. The prophecies come in 100% nothing like Nostradumbass. Even the chapter and verse numbers and the number of times words show up having numerical meanings would be impossible to put together without God's inspiration. Many other reasons. I love his idea about the great grandfather being part of you physically, is a type of memory that your body has. That’s a great metaphor for generational wisdom, generational memory, and in the inverse, generational trauma.
@WormholeJim3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, agree! Only - it's not a metaphor, it's existential truth. Just because it's my nose, because I can see it when I cross my eyes and I know my grandfather is long dead, it doesn't make logical sense if it's my grandfather's nose. So I call it a metaphor. But it's not, not really. Same way with the rest of my body, the existential truth of it is, it is not me - it is the planet, all the life that has been here up until this point in time, an extract of all that, that's my body. #ConsciousPlanet

Vedic tradition never demanded that their students should blindly believe or "swallow" anything -- “ IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT , LUMP IT “ TYPE DOGMA. THEY ARE ASKED TO APPLY THEIR CONSCIENCE . No guru wants his students to believe; he wanted his students to understand and agree . A teacher wants students to understand, to know, unlike a SINGLE HOLY BOOK DOGMA preacher who wants listeners to believe. Moksha in Vedic tradition is given through the grace of god alone and only for those who deserve it according to Good karma . God never forgive Sin. After death this deserving soul is liberated from the endless cycle of births and rebirths. The body of the “realized man” or Jivan Mukt continues to exist until his karmas and prarabdhas ( greater responsibility ) has worked itself out, and then his mortal coil falls away on his own free will , and he attains Moksha. Such people have sterling virtues like conscience, lack of ego, gratitude , lack of desires- selfishness- greed- jealousy- anger- and fear, unlimited compassion, respect for universal laws, raised consciousness and humility ( which yours truly does NOT have though I hold a rare Moksha Jatakam ). In Sanatan Dharma it is your own conscience, (which arose out of awakened consciousness ) which connects you to the greater metaphysical unity. "Patience, Pardon, Suppression of will, Stay away from Theft, Purity, Control of desires, Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth, Controlling Anger. These 10 qualities are considered as main characteristics of the Dharma." 'Manu-Smiti' 5000 BC describes the code for leading a disciplined way of life. धृति: क्षमा दमो अस्तेयम्, शौचम् इन्द्रियनिग्रहः । धीं विद्या सत्यम् अक्रोधः, दशकं धर्म-लक्षणम् ।। -(मनुस्मृति-धर्मलक्षणम्)5000BC Dharma leads you on the path of self realisation. Dharma includes adhara or regulation of daily life as per your conscience and written Vedic laws. You conscience is that spark of celestial fire. God resides in your DNA. All great quantum scientist Including Albert Einstein get cremated there body Cremation is about shooting the soul, riding a soliton carrier wave , to an akashic or ethereal plane, via a quantum wormhole- when the skull pops during cremation. A soliton is the quantum chaos sine wave that achieves anti gravity. SANATANA DHARMA HAS PROPAGATED LAWS OF KARMA. THE INVADER INJECTED POISON THAT INDIANS BELIEVE IN FATE ( DESTINY ) In Sanatan Dharma the true purpose of life is to overcome karma (destiny) and attain moksha where you become merse in god or Bharma superme being . Vedas does NOT allow man to escape responsibility by blaming fate,( for fate is of his own making ), nor by blaming God, for He is but the dispenser of fruits in accordance with the merits of actions. "All material and spiritual phenomena of the universe are present in the individual. Similarly, all those present in the individual are also contained in the universe. This is how the wise desire to perceive." Every atom within us depends on the rest of the cosmos. We are NOT independent from this cosmos. We are part of it. This is the reason we must live in harmony with the laws of the universe by exercising our free will. When your body dies your consciousness just returns to the original source, with all the experience, knowledge and lessons it has gathered. The next generation baby has this new knowledge programmed into the DNA. Both religion and science has vested interest in keeping this truth away from you.. Through your awakening you awake the whole of humanity. RESPOND LIKE A CONSCIOUS HUMAN TO LIFE. DO NOT REACT LIKE AN ANIMAL. All atoms in the entire universe are capable of mind reading and communicating with other atoms. Our consciousness is a cosmic DVD player The whole of material creation is conscious. Our consciousness creates our reality. What our consciousness can conceive , it can also create. Human beings are conscious. They can see themselves in the mirror and see colours, while an animal cannot. ॐ ईशा वास्यमिदँ सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत् । तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम् "All this- whatever exists in this changing universe, is pervaded by consciousness" --Isa Upanishad .5000-BCE. The whole universe is observing you. Karma treats everyone equally. You won’t get special treatment. intentions are pure. The universe wants harmony. It seeks balance. Feel for those who are jealous of you. Have respect for their jealousy as they think so highly of you. IN SANATANA DHARMA THERE IS NO MIDDLE MAN.. In Sanatan Dharma the true purpose of life is to overcome karma (destiny) and attain moksha where you become merge with mother field Bharma ( god). Sanatan Dharma does NOT allow man to escape responsibility by blaming fate,( for fate is of his own making ), nor by blaming God, for He is but the dispenser of fruits in accordance with the merits of actions. God never punishes nor gives rewards. He is not sitting with a whip to chastise people. Life is governed by fundamental divine laws, Every things will recation of Your Karma and You will judge by your action right or wronge not by your faith -- this is quantum physics . But the single messsiah / single holy book religions put you under servility. The mullahs and popes want to save you--because they have a hot line with god, and they can forgive you from any crime. "You do not have a soul , you are a soul and you have a body " THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HUMAN SOUL AND THE FIELD OF BRAHMAN IS ONLY THE DIFFERENCE IN FREQUENCY.. WHEN YOU RAISE YOUR SOUL FREQUENCY TO THE LEVEL OF BRAHMAN THE MOTHER FIELD OF CONSCIOUSNESS , YOU BECOME A JIVANMUKT , WHILE ALIVE ON PLANET EARTH..

His comments on family and sense of brotherhood were very profound. "why do we limit that to our family". We need to nurture our children properly, teach them the sense of brotherhood that you see in the military or family and apply that sense to every other being, if you teach brotherhood at a young age it would have profound ramifications in a positive manner I suspect.

I love your thinking about children and family. If everyone felt like that about raising children we would be living in a much much better world and would not misused our planet as we have. Love is all we need, however, we need in every way. Love thy neighbor as thy self.

@Mortons Iodized Salt Matters I feel the same way. "Know thyself", people don't even take care for their mental hygiene and no nothing about knowing psychology which would be the key to this process. Personality disorders are on the rise.

Thank you Sadhguru , I finally get "The Inner Engineering" it's like looking at your reflection in a pool of water. Smile and the world will smile with you but if you try to adjust your image in the pool of water, the worst it gets. Welcome to the holographic world. Adjust your thoughts and feelings with feelings of your inner self.

I have watched this twice - so much knowledge, wisdom. My big take this time is mistakes are just a part of growing up and that suffering is the obsessive self thinking. So true. We have a global anthem - "we are the world, we are the children"... xx

I had 2 take aways from the first interview and they were definition of identity through family, this one definitely hit home. And the second was the definition of greatness. Nothing can be defined as great if it is to be great.

I loved every second of this and the greatest take away isn't his wisdom or knowledge, but it's the joy, peace and love he radiates from within

"Do not think in terms of abundance, think in terms of fulfillment of life." Dang, Sadhguru is truly gifted at explaining in a way that deeply resonates. I could listen to his wisdom, humor, & spiritual analogies all day 💜 this has been popping up in my YT feed for a while but I guess today is the day I needed to hear it. Blessed be all! Thank you Lewis for this interview. Through this, I got to know Sadhguru and started to learn more about my inner world. I had watched this interview a year ago, and, last November, I finished Inner Engineering and Inner Engineering Completion. Your channel is a great platform for all these great human beings. Thank you.
