@@NickCools2184 Ukraine is receiving old equipment in small amounts. Europe should send newer equipment and bigger amount. Plus after 2 years the West found out that we are running out of ammunitions. While the ramp up of ammo production should have started in the first year when it was clear that this is a long term conflict. Russia emptied its soviets era stocks and disarmed itself. It is normal if Europe will disarm itself too. Europe has no other enemies that may invade it except Russia. While US stocks I would like to be saved for a potential conflict with China.

War is very expensive! US spent in the war with relatively small Iraq $1.1 trillions and the active conflict lasted less than a month. Then another $2 trillions for later period of occupation. ($1.1 trillions in 2003,correction for inflation, is $1.8 trillions today) While Russia is not Iraq and the conflict is still going for more than 2 years.

@@chillxxx241 You probably mean the legendary Bayraktar. Now used for recce and to guide other drones. The Russian air defense has evolved to cope with them as attack drones so they are no longer used in that role. Their effect on the early Russian onslaught was significant and the Bayraktar TB-2 fully deserves it's place in history. Baykar, the makers continue designing. Watch this space....

i truly wonder if the ukrainian soldiers believes in what he is saying or has been coached to say so.. more specifically, he was referring to "russian conscripts" and somehow that russia is a dictatorship even though they had their elections a couple of month ago. either way those on the "other side" or no conscripts.. its one of the best (if not the best) whether they are cubans (more specifically those stationed in Mozambique and Angola), gurkhas, chechens , russian VDV etc etc they are all truly great soldiers.

What is the situation at the moment? The Ukrainian troops are far too few in number and are being worn down on the front lines, thereby losing more and more combat power. Now Zelenskyy has passed the law far too late, which could potentially lead to more conscription. There are now two possibilities. Either the newly drafted troops are given a crash course for a few days and sent to the front lines as cannon fodder. This would relieve the strain on the worn-out troops, but would lead to high losses for the poorly trained new troops. Or the newly drafted troops are properly trained in the hinterland for months. This means that the worn-out troops have to fight on the front lines for even longer, thereby becoming even more worn down. So things are not looking good for Ukraine because it was not able to mobilize enough people in time to defend the country. And the question is how motivated the new conscripts are, who have had to do without for two years. There really is no point in continuing this war.

Hard to figure whether this is intended to A. encourage the Russians, B. Feed them misinformation. C. Inform the Western suppliers about the lack of sufficient drones in Ukraine, with the intention of getting them to supply more. Very confusing.
