Russian President Vladimir Putin is visiting North Korea this week. Pyongyang is a supporter of Russia's war in Ukraine. The North Korean regime has also supplied military equipment to the Russian forces. Observers say - Putin's visit to further deepen this partnership. In return for more support for the war, Kim Jong Un could seek greater support from Russia for his missile and satellite programmes. This could further raise tensions in the Korean Peninsula. In recent months, the North-South tensions have escalated. Palki Sharma tells you more.

This news channel is pro-Putin please stop lying unfortunately, the US asked for artillery shells from South Korea only after Putin gave the North Korean transfer of military technology because they were running low but I think Russia and South Korea had a pretty good relationship before all this chaos broke out when the Soviet Union fell the Russians were in economic disaster there were thousands of Russians on line waiting for rations something similar to the North Koreans in 1992, but not as bad but getting there so the Russia had no choice but to approach South Korea for loans since no country wanted to help them to keep their people up and float it but the Russians had some sort of deal with the South Koreans not to arm the North Koreans thinking it would bring the Kim regime to the table and finally reunify the broken nation
