Loost woods is a place in zelda ocarina of time where you can guess if you dont follow a specific route you will get lost from the teleporting treetrunk tunnels.Since it was on the n64 and they had to make a huge map its not as bad as you think tho but there were players that spent more then half an hour there without a guide or more

It started out as Doki Doki Panic but if it came as Mario Bros 2 in the West, and then Re-released as Mario Bros 2 USA in Japan, they clearly acknowledge it as a Mario game in its country of origin. And whatever Nintendo says it is, that's what it is. That's like saying Mario Golf is not a Mario game, it's PGA Tour with Mario characters. That would be blatantly wrong.

I actually did too. I have a specific memory of playing the final battle of Super Mario World (GBA) on the bus and this very confused kid watching me like "So you're fighting a clown pot...with a dragon in it?"

I actually did play AND beat this game and have something of a nostalgic soft spot for it. Even if the core premise is a bit problematic. Always bugged me that it ends on a blatant sequel hook that is never addressed, and I somehow doubt the new game is going to follow up on it. By the way, it WAS for the original DS. It doesn't need to be on the 3DS to have 3D effects lol.

Isn't Peach literally just the one in perfect control of her emotions? Kinda the opposite of what he said at the beginning. Like the game shows her guards all unable to control their emotions at all, and Peach here is still in perfect control and able to use the amplified emotions to save Mario and everything else. Like, yeah you can make it misogynistic if you ignore the actual story entirely. They used emotion for her powers because that's just in line with the game itself. Like how the Vibe Scepter affects emotions, the only person seemingly unaffected by it is the princess who has perfect control of her emotions. I honestly don't see it as problematic but then again, I'm not super into the whole "being offended over everything thing" thing.
