I’m so wrapped to come across you both. So down to earth and genuine. No filters...tell us like it is. To get where you are is hard work & determination. My husband & I are currently on the same journey. We’re at the point of clearing debt. It sometimes seems slow, so thank you for the inspiration & motivation to keep moving forward. Cheers to you both living the life🥂

Just today watched your episode 204. It was great. Warren, I need to say I am very impressed with your ability to repair so MANY things on the boat. Though it is at times a pain in the butt I’m sure but you seem to thrive on the repair projects. Erica, your photographs are phenomenal and video editing too. The two of you pair very nicely! Just watching the alcohol flowing like it does on your videos does worry me at times. I like you guys to much. Keep up the great videos and relationship. I really do look forward to each Wednesday now since I found you two on YT!😊😊

Jesus, that price for the cat was a steal, compared to what the same year cat costs now in 2023. Yacht world has one (2014) for $440,000! The cat market has gone crazy.

Thanks for the video, I love when people aren't squeamish about money! :-) Aside from Patreon and viewer support are there many opportunities for casual labour at the various locations? . My career in healthcare doesn't lend itself to remote working !
@WEsail4 жыл бұрын
Much appreciated! And no unfortunately not much opportunity for labor jobs, all these areas we are going have PLENTY of locals willing to work for MUCH cheaper than any of us would be (some as low as $10/day, not kidding) But where theres a will.... CHEERS

Can y’all give me an idea roughly about what would be a good amount to keep set aside in savings? I could buy the boat but I worry about how we will get monthly expenses, I was thinking about maybe buying a small home and renting out to keep us afloat and then maybe put money down on a boat and finance the rest. The idea of flipping y’all’s home is a remarkable idea and think that’s what I would lead more towards, my husband is an electrician and does automation but he can also fix anything including rebuilding motors on anything That runs off electric or gas. So he can definitely do all the maintenance to the boat. My concern would be replacement parts cost and of course groceries per month, oh and also boat insurance! But was just wondering realistically how much is a good amount to keep set aside in savings? Any info on that would be a huge help to give me an idea. Would like y’all’s input..... Thanks in advance if y’all are able to answer my question.

Just found your channel. Very nice. What do y’all do for health insurance and is that calculated in your monthly expense? Thanks
@WEsail4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kim, terribly sorry for the delayed response. Glad you found our channel and appreciate your views! WE actually do not have health insurance. We thought about getting it, but a lot of times the health care in other countries are so much more affordable. Just depending on where you go and what you are most comfortable with. We stay as healthy as possible and have a pretty good first aid kit aboard. Both Warren and I take very good care of each other and have our health to thank for that too. Some cruisers we have spoken to they get a travel health insurance plan while they sail. Now I don't know what the costs of that would be but if you're in good health and generally have no pre existing conditions, you know health insurance is just a costly expense. Thanks again for watching!

Great videos! Would love to sell everything and bye a catamaran... But It cost the double for me. I need the boat to fit wheelchair. But that is my goal now. A cat whit ramp from the deck so boarding can be done whit wheelchair. So after the hospital fail I still fight whit my lawyer to get money back. When I do I think I can bye a million dollar boat and upgrade it.

Hi Guys. What length is your boat and how many did you look at and / or survey before you got this one?
@WEsail4 жыл бұрын
Hi guys! Its a 40 foot boat and Warren spent hours, days, weeks scanning yachtworld for the boat until he flew to Montenegro to check out a a boat that was within our budget and get a survey done. It was exactly the same boat we have now but far less equipped and it just didn't have the love and honestly the location that we wanted. And in fact, while he was in there looking at that boat, the listing for the boat we have now came up and it was outside of our price range but had all that we were looking for and more. So we actually backed out of the one in Europe and then bought our boat sight unseen. So in all, we seriously looked at just 2 and the rest were just online searches until the right one came about.
