The transformation from the beginning to now is absolutely astonishing. Those of us who have been watching for a long time probably forgot the original barn reveal, in other words it's easy to lose track of the progress and focus on the daily process. Wow, I'm blown away looking back at the early times of the property when you were just moving your belongings in!. You should be rightfully proud of your accomplishments.

Hi Guy's another good video from you both, your hard work is bringing change to the land and feeding the local community economy too. I especialy liked the attention to the land zoning and cost of setting up to live in another country. My family and I are 4 years into a move to Spain, and busy renovating an old country house, not as big a project as your's but still a labor of love. The land zoning regulations in Spain are similar and many bargains come with hidden issues as well. We filled a van with us and a set of camping gear and list of internet propertys from Costa blanca to Portugal and spent 2 months travelling arround. In Spain you can add 12-14% ontop of the property cost seen on the websites for tax's fee's, notarys and land registration. Here's hoping for a better 2021 and some more progress !

Good info. I'm in Portugal at mo, slightly different land classification where I am, also there was an amnesty after the fires for reclassification of property, which is easier to do by original owner. Also, look at land around you, if it is overgrown, it is a hazard to your land due to fires. Make sure you have a good escape route, not at the end of a valley for example.
