We get heavy snowfall in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and our favorite tool to manage this is our Woodmaxx SB72 PTO snowblower. Last week we had severe winds that required daily snow removal on the driveway. Well, accidents happen and we were left without the use of our Woodmaxx for several days. Don't do what he did!

We rented an incredible VRBO home way up above Rollinsville over the weekend including January 13 and 14 and the wind and snow up there was unbelievable. It didn't let up much the entire 6 days we were there. It was awesome. Amazing the difference in weather between there and coming back down the hill into Boulder.

This reminds me of snowmageddon in Maryland 2009. Just moved to a rural area with a long driveway and did not have a snowblower. Took 6 hours non stop to shovel about 28 inches. Total between the two storms within a few days was 54 inches. Of course it hasnt snowed like that but once here since, when about 33 inches fell here back in 2018.

Holy moly! We just had 5 feet of snow, but it's mostly gone now. Fun for that first day of it though!!

A few years ago we lived in upstate NY. The winters there were extremely harsh. Tons of snow as well as way below zero for months on end. When we 1st got there they had 3 feet on the ground. Within a week they had another storm that dumped another 2 feet. There was so much snow they didn't have a place to put it. They got into trouble pushing it into the local river as the EPA said it was polluting the river. We lived in a 2 story apartment building. I could climb up the snow bank that was created by the plow trucks to the top of the building. It took until late May before all the snow melted.

I bet upstate New York is like another world some years. Apparently 20 years ago here they had 7 feet fall in one weekend. Wonder we'll see that in our lifetime.

Wow, you guys have great shear bolt luck! I have an 800' dirt/surepack driveway here in Vermont, and if we get snow before the driveway freezes I can go through half a dozen shear bolts on my Massey-Ferguson's snowblower in one storm. I carry about a dozen shear bolts and a couple of wrenches in the tractor toolbox all winter. Once the ground freezes up shear bolt consumption drops quite a bit.

Oh wow! it's amazing we haven't broken any in the past few years. I think the ones that came with the machine were higher quality than what bryan got at the hardware store.

get some reflector road edge markers...... about every 10 feet or so.

we have a few but they break over the years, plus it's harder to push the snow off the driveway with too many markers

You have a broken chain on your left front tire. You can buy repair links. The blower can really eat the snow. Have a good day.

Too bad they don't make a bolt-on cab for that tractor, even without a heater. That snowblower attachment was a great addition to your arsenal.

Make a reflector fist almost looks like one already, more of a log than a stick, would be interesting to freeze dry some blueberries and see what you could add freeze dried blueberries to and simple soup of onions, tomatos, potatos, cauliflower and rice with olive oil to fry onions first then some raw olive oil added would be good to freeze dry, would be interesting to see if apricots or peaches retain the flavour and texture after drying and rehydrating All The Best Fabrizio

My very first freeze dry run was with blueberries, they tend to come out sticky due to the sugar content. Peaches I did this summer and they were even better tasting than the fresh ones. it's a very fun process!!

@@ColoradoMountainLiving interesting didn’t think of the sugar in them causing stickiness, peaches seems that it concentrates the flavour so like chewy peaches, I would see if you could make a better instant coffee like a premium instant coffee espresso with the freeze dryer and sell them Continued Success Fabrizio
