Lovely pond size, what paint can be used in a fish pond. Your ponds turned out great, love the finished look!

It was actually a solid stain, and not a paint.

What a beautiful wooden raised pond, it looks amazing, and as a digger driver myself from Yorkshire England, he did a really good job. I've subscribed to your channel and rung the bell for more content 👍

Very cool Chris. you are so lucky it was sand and not clay like ours.. So great to have machinery to dig. Good thinking about the house wrap It always rains when you do a pond... Just glad it didn't rain while digging. Excellent job They all flow into each other...?
@sweetkoiyo9 ай бұрын
Yes, they all flow into each other. I'm going to add Bakki Showers to both ponds next spring. I just couldn't afford to do everything I wanted to do in one year.

Beautiful 😍😍, cost? If you don't mind? Thank you

For just the pond frame, lumber, steel reinforced sides, rebar and material it was 1,600.00. Not including labor for the leveling, and digging. The entire build, including electric hookup, materials, and labor, was just shy of 10,000.00.

Really cool! How long did it take you guys to build?

Hey Aquamigo!!! 👋 About 4 weekends. He worked on it when he had the weekend off.

Have you had to deal with critters who are now using your pond as their watering hole?
@sweetkoiyo8 ай бұрын
We just have birds that drink from the pond. The four legged wildlife drink from the quarter acre pond in the front of the property. Thanks for watching ❤
@hertskoi9 ай бұрын
Great video chris enjoyed seeing how you both put them together

It's definitely a work in progress. We have so much to fix and finish with this pond. It's our first outdoor pond that's both in ground, and above ground. So we're still learning.

So very neat to go back & see how you both had done your pond build from the start!! So glad you didn’t encounter the granite and rocks we had here! What a gorgeous view you have!! Sunsets are amazing there. Could I get your email address (didn’t see anything in your channel write up)? Mine is in my channel write up.
@sweetkoiyo8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words. Email is sweetkoiyo@gmail.com. I too am glad we didn't deal with that. We did have chunks of concrete, but nothing the backhoe couldn't deal with. ❤️
@KeefesKoiHaven8 ай бұрын
@@sweetkoiyo yes I was very grateful I had a neighbor with a backhoe too!! ❤️
