Recently purchased AB-4100 as a 2nd retirement gift from me, myself, and I(retired Army, retired Highway Patrol). It replaced my other bench bought from Fitness Factory back in 2006. All I can say is the AB-4100 is da BOMB DIGGITY!!! My old bench was 24 inches high. 17 inch bench height makes a world of difference! Also dig all the different angles bench offers, verticle storage, white/black color scheme and rock solid stability! JOB WELL DONE!

You guys notice that the center hinge seat pan design that I came up with has become the industry standard for adjustable benches? I put a lot of thought and development into that design to work with manufacturing processes to come up with a accurate and repeatable set up to make sure everything was in the correct position. Hopefully you used the pin through the hinge & tube to line them up like I used in the original bench you got the design from, as that allows everything to line up perfectly. The old bench that the one I made to replace had such bad alignment problems with the seats, which saved so much $ in from what had to be scrapped and a lot less customer complaints. you guys can move the seat pads a little closer to the hinges to narrow the gap, I now some customers complain about the seat pinching when its close, but it really isnt bad and doesn't cause wear or anything really negative if you get the height and closeness just right.

What I need is a bench that sits low enough to the ground so I can hip thrust without jacking up my shoulders getting up into position, if this does that, sign me up!

All our benches are low enough to active leg drive on benching. Some cheaper ones are much higher. We do hip thrusts all the time on them at our HQ gym, so I'm sure it'll work.

i have the black wing but it is heavy to lug around, so thinking of switching to the 4100. Does the 4100 have the same pad as the blackwing? i like the firmness and ease of cleaning of the blackwing.

This bench looks similar to the AB-3100 bench except: 1. height is lower 2. back pad is rectangular instead of rounded 3. goes up to 85 degrees instead of 90 degrees Is this correct?

Stand up feature to save space with a closed ladder. A bit heavier duty as well.

Rep Fitness is crushing Rogue right now with the new products. Would love to get the ares and make it work with a half rack (for space concerns) and a leg extension for the zero-gap bench. If those things happen, I will no longer buy anything from Rogue.
