Great thorough dip process and explanation to go along with it. Nothing beats the close up observation and a scalpel/pick to manually remove any unwanted pests or hitchhikers. Keep up the great work. I would definitely feel comfortable ordering coral from QCC. Especially after seeing how you try to do as thorough a job as possible to keep the coral and systems clean. Happy Reefing!

got some corals from y'all yesterday and my dipping experience was stressful lol but the coral arrived REALLY cold, their water was 68 degrees so I really wanted to get them warm more than anything...

hmm. as far as the iodine, do you only make it that brownish hue when using that particular dip? or should all iodine type dips be a slight tinge to it?

I usually mix it so there is a tinge to it with all iodine dips especially if the iodine has that brown color. Some supplements are clear but typically all the dips will be brownish.
