HOW WE EXTENDED OUR CATAMARAN! - Part 3

Sailing Parlay Revival

Sailing Parlay Revival

3 жыл бұрын

The sugar scoop extension continues as we finish all of the fiberglass work, and start the fairing process on our hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran. This is a huge upgrade for the L450, as they are built with a very small bottom step, so loading and unloading provisions, surfboards, dive gear etc is a huge pain in the butt!

As someone who has recorded sound in the film industry for 34 yrs, the secret to filtering out that Grinder noise is to shut the damn thing off before recording the sound that you want. Your voice rose above the sound of the grinder, good enough for me in this format. Signal to Noise Ratio. I appreciate the concern, shows that you care about your production value.

CoLin and FAMiLy!!! You guys rocK!!! I am living vicariously through you from Los Angeles, CA yet I can taste the humidity, sweat and rain. I still feel all the fiberglass sinking into my back and arms, stinging like hell from grinding bulkheads a few episodes back. I'm practically chomping cereal across tha table from you guys while you are editing, grinning ear to ear honing my new zealand accent. Jamie is the ultimate wing-man/mate, so lucky, so loyal. Illia looks like russian spetsnaz, ready to pick up a rifle and repel all borders at the drop of a hat, I swear he has a bottle of vodka very close nearby. I can frame out and fiberglass a whole damn catamaran from what I've learned from you guys! Pray that you make all soLid preparations before plunking Parlay back into the sea, safe journey circumnavigating this globe! Good on You, God Bless!!!

Hi Collin, the sound of a Grinder has a fairly wide range of frequenzies. You should try to find out the frequenzy that argues the most and reduce it with a „Notch Filter“ in your Audio Programme to a noise level, that dosn‘t bother you anymore. You can‘t remove it completely. Surely a lot of work!
