I have been searching for travel guide videos for months and this channel is the best travel guide so far. Thank you for putting up those enormous effort to educate and help tourist/travelers around the world. May GOD continue to bless you both.

Great work gentlemen... The hundreds of hours of planning, production, and post you both put into each episode you make is greatly appreciated. Great info, great presentation, great production, and great vision. I'm sure somedays you think "WTF are we doing..." but it is appreciated to us who love to travel.

Thanks for the tips. As a solo travel vlogger I use the Joby Gorilla Pod legs as a selfie stick and mobile tripod. I also have an on-board microphone (Rode video mic pro) for my Canon 5D miii. I think the set up works pretty well for "run and gun style" travel video and photography shooting.

I watch a lot of KZbin. Like a lot. In particular cycling and travel content. You fine gentlemen are at the top of your game. Format, content, production, and just general vibe and respect for the world we live in. Keep up the fantastic work and thank you for what you do.

Great video, I've just got a question...what kind of equipment do you use though? Seriously though it's cool to see all the pieces that come together to make Attache work. If you ever do another BTS kind of video it'd be cool to see what goes into preparing for a new video - I know you've referenced seeking Reddit's advice and recent vids have used locals but it'd be cool to know how much research goes into where to shoot and what to feature Keep up the great work guys!

Greg, the shotgun mic on the C100 looks like a RODE -- NTG2? Do you ever use pin / lavalier mics? -John
@attachetravel8 жыл бұрын
+ONLY in JAPAN we do, in fact almost exclusively for the PTCs.
@goshawkvideo8 жыл бұрын
+ONLY in JAPAN The shotgun mic is a Rode NTG4 - it's a nice step up from the 2 - and I can definitely recommend. As Alex has said - we used Lavalier mics for the PTCs and wherever possible too. Hope that helps!

So cool what you can do these days with modern tech. Loved your Tokyo video and was wondering if you plan on visiting Kyoto or Osaka as well? Since they are right by each other, you could do two videos fairly easily. I visited them in 2010 and they are amazing places quite different from Tokyo although Osaka has a few similarities. Keep up the great work!

A question,I'm thinking of KZbin as a job and I want to know,for beginners,what camera do you think is great for shooting,vlogs,maybe occasional travel videos,but still quite cheap? Also,is this show just run by the two of you?

@attachetravel8 жыл бұрын
+Gordon Chadwick Thanks! Yeah the Osmo is really useful and has helped us in a number of situations. It definitely doesn't replace either of the other cameras but it's still a great bit of kit. We're definitely hoping to get to Australia in Season 3.

Are the GH4 and C100 hand held when you are shooting or are there stabilizers, tripods, sliders with you?
@goshawkvideo8 жыл бұрын
we use a lightweight shoulder rig, and, when possible, a light tripod. When on the move, the GH4 can handle being handheld when shooting for slow motion (things look a lot less shaky at a quarter of the speed!). And the Osmo essentially is a stabiliser in itself so no need to worry there. Hope that helps.
