Very beautiful gonio, amazing colour. Love your coral. Usually I have seen only purple and green tips only..

Thank you for showing the handsaw being used I can't find anyone actually using the thing. Did it give a good cut? Did the teeth catch a lot or was the sawing pretty smooth?
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
Actually it was surprisingly smooth! I really thought it was a stupid purchase, but now I’m glad I bought it. It was not fast, but it worked really well on a Goni. I have not tried it on anything else yet

How do you keep your flower pot healthy ?
@HerbysReef3 жыл бұрын
I have a video called how to keep goniopora the easy way. It describes it, but it basically comes down to picking a good specimen, random moderate flow, low to moderate lighting, and weekly feedings.

I need a frag from that big red goni next to the purple one.
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
I just fragged that one, but I usually heal it a good while because it is so expensive.

@@HerbysReef do you sell it on a website or what?
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
I mostly sell it in person, otherwise I just message people and handle it over messenger. If you want you can message my Herby’s reef Instagram page.
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
@@ferrari_guy3570 No, I usually just sell locally, I dont have a website yet. I can ship, but I always just arrange it through text or messaging. These are not healed yet though, I watch them a while before I sell them

Do you sell your frags? Love your goni collection.
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
I do, but so far only locally. I may start shipping when my torches get ready to cut and when the Amazeballs heal enough that I would be comfortable selling them, but most of my others are not worth enough to justify the shipping. Are you local to the Dallas area? Thanks for the compliment! We have been collecting them for a while now!
@jefferygarcia39934 жыл бұрын
@@HerbysReef I wish I would be close, I would grab a amazeball from you in a heartbeat. I'm from Michigan. I started a goni garden also but are fairly small right now.
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
Feed them and they will surprise you how fast they grow! I will be willing to ship the Amazeballs, but they are not ready. Most came off the bottom of the colony and those don’t open much yet. The other piece that opens well is going to be my backup and fragging piece. I will let you know when they are ready though in case you are still in the market!

@@HerbysReef that would be awesome. Yea feeding reefroids at the moment, I was doing once a week but slowly started to increase feeding.

How long does it take to accimilate new tank? I have got a frag for one week. Polyps are fully open but not extending more than 1.5 inches. I know the mother colony and it extends polyps huge. Any advice appreciated.
@HerbysReef4 жыл бұрын
It can take a Goni a super long time to get the nice long tentacles. Some of mine took months before they got long. A lot of the time, it seems like they have to grow to a fair size before they will open that much. I’d say you probably don’t need to worry if the polyps are fully open and it seems happy. It may just need to grow!
