I do the same thing, when I'm having bad days , I binge watch mrs.lori & Mr. Danny . Today I finally went out and purchased everything I needed to make homemade laundry soap , as when my husband went to Sam's over the weekend it's up to $29.97 for 106 pods . I was done. So I bought everything Mrs. Lori taught us . I'm gonna send her a picture through email when I make it ... Plus went to lowes to get 2 - 5 gallon buckets with a lid as Walmart didn't have lids. I'm so excited to make our own laundry soap. Plus I love putting towels, dish towels out to dry ... I just love them both . Their family Is so blessed to have them in their lives .... I have done this with eggs, I beat two and put in small freezer bags, I’m a 70 year old who loves to cook and learn new things, I learned most of my cooking from my granmaw, my mother inlaw also taught me some ways to cook and freeze, now I’m teaching my oldest granddaughter how to run her kitchen, she’s getting married in two weeks. I’ve made her a recipe book of things I’ve cooked over the years. She cried when I gave it to her! Love your videos

What an awesome gift..a personalized recipe book will certainly be a treasure for your granddaughter..of that I am sure! What I wouldn’t give to have received something like that from my Grammy…she was the best cook ever! And did it all on a wood cook stove until she passed at 82…she taught me most everything I know about cooking but I will never hold a candle to her…but I certainly try. I will always be convinced that her skills on that old wood stove was what made everything she made incomparable to anyone else! Blessings❤

@@donnamays24 I have only one recipe that my mama wrote in her hand writing, and I have one that my mother inlaw wrote in hers, I wish I had some that granmaw had written but I never saw her using recipes, I’ve got to get some pictures made of me cooking to add to this book for my granddaughter, and I have two other little granddaughters and I think I’m going to make them one and let their mamas put them up for them, I’m 70 I probably won’t be around when they get married,

I live in Florida now but before I moved here I lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the foot of the Rockies for 30 years. Before moving to Colorado though I lived in Gallup, N.M. My husband had gone back into the service so he had to go to AIT and I stayed with my parents in Gallup. My twins were born there in Rehoboth Christian Hospital in 1975. At that time my Dad was working for the B.L.M. and my Mom worked at a bank. We learned so much about the Navajo culture. I loved that I got to share in that adventure. Thanks for sharing how to freeze eggs and make a quiche. The making of a quiche always seemed to intimidate me so I never made one but I will now! 🙏God Bless and prayers for all on this earth.

I make small crustless quiches a lot in a pan that can go in the oven if need. Cooks faster without the crust. And, I can not have very many carbs being Diabetic. Low carb is low breads. I do buy a few low carb tortillas and can use those in the bottom of a baking dish. Versatile recipes. Pizza quiches work with my Grandkids! 😋

I make a bunch of different flavored crustless quiche then I cut them into single serving size pieces. I freeze the pieces on a cookie sheet then once frozen I use my foodsaver and seal up each serving. I let them thaw overnight in the fridge for my morning breakfast. You can either reheat them in the microwave or in a steamer pot. My absolute favorite flavor is peas and onion with cheddar cheese. I make all sorts of flavors, Italian, Mexican etc. Each of my quiche uses 9 eggs and I bake them in a 9x13 baking dish. Variety is the spice of life!!
