I have been paralyzed since I was 18 years old I’m 27 now and when it first happened my doctors told me I was a complete injury I was first diagnosed paralyzed from the neck down I couldn’t move anything then months later my arm started moving and I was able to move my shoulders And everything from the chest up to and I always start when you become paralyzed that you don’t feel anything and I think we need to let more people understand about paralyzation because for me learning to live like this was like learning a new language that I never knew existed and once I found out about the nerve pain and I started to feel it and understood that it will never go away that I will feel it every second of every minute of every day It became harder to say I’m happy that I’m still alive I really wish this study becomes available for everyone and not a selective few that has the money for it

3 years after a horrifying car accident I started overcoming the terrible neurological damage that Im not supposed to get over. Bringing my broken nervous system back online was the most difficult thing I will ever do in my life, but doctors need to be aware the mind has incredible ability to heal the body. Going through this all on my own was so difficult I really want to find a way to work with neuro patients. 12 doctors and nothing… 2 hospital teams during an emergency still nothing. Western medicine simply doesn’t understand the mechanisms at work here but that doesnt mean there isn’t much to accomplish!

The mind and the correct supplements used correctly can do many things that doctors can’t explain or understand.

I would love for my son Justin Amico to have a chance to get this therapy he is only 21 YO and has his whole life ahead of him. he has been a C6 now for 3 years now and has been told he would never walk but he will not believe this he lost his Mother in 2020 as well which was been exceptionally traumatic. although bone infections ,hospital stays for infections, and a dislocated hip have hampered his success he has continued to push forward and has been able to make some gains in the upper body strenght. recently and has been able to transfer himself he is trying so hard i would like to get him any chance possible to have a life,

My son can't even get physical therapy for a C6 complete injury. He suffers too much nerve pain to get out of bed and sit in his wheelchair long enough to go to outpatient therapy. We've been trying for 10 months to find an in-home therapist in our area and there is no one that accepts his insurance (Mercycare long term care). Our healthcare system in the USA is seriously broken! I find myself wishing that a child of a powerful politician gets paralyzed from the chest down. Maybe then things will change for all social levels of quadriplegia. Our elected representatives should be forced to use the same healthcare system the rest of the country is forced to use. Then, only then, will those less fortunate disabled get some help to be able to walk again.

Was the missing item them actually envisioning it and mentally processing the experience. Then focusing on their thoughts of the action.
