But I'm not sure if that's where I want to settle there. All my military buddies live in Chang Mai or Bangkok or Pattaya. I enjoy your videos very much, Chuck so I hope you will keep them coming! My son has lived in Thailand since Sept 2021. We visited him in Jomtien for 2 months in fall 2022. Tried to go back last fall for 5 months but Air Canada refused to board us without a longer term Visa. We intend to go this winter Oct - Mar to visit him and his Thai companion in Ang Thong . . . once we have the 6 month/multiple entry Tourist Visa in hand! The country is beautiful and so are the Thai people! I will need to learn the language!!

It is still a requirement by the national emergency decree to wear a mask in public. Where I live in Pattaya I reckon its at about +95% complied ..in malls, restaurants, shops markets etc ..its 100% . If you don't have a smart phone you can sign in manually. The app ..takes a few seconds .

Sometimes things just run their course and people move on to other things. I wonder if other travel channels lost subs after Covid once people were able to travel on their own again and no longer felt the need to live vicariously through others. I've been watching for a few months now and subs have steadily gone up a little in that time, so the golf is not causing a net loss in subs as some are assuming.

Thanks my friend as I said it was during covid. During that period of time I lost about 40,000 subscribers as I showed. However we gained quite a bit more because people couldn't travel.
