Honestly, in the last games in this split I kinda feel that he's the only one who's really trying (well, Rekkles too) and playing as he should and as he's expected to play. Holy sh1t. The pressure Rekkles might been feeling right now is inhuman. He recalls every mistake he does and feels guilty in a much stronger way than he should. In my head, hes very calm and collected, but the pressure/will to win is taking its toll. Idk if he reads these - and I dont think he should, but man, take a deep breath. You're a great player, and I'm sure you should ease your shoulders a bit. Mistakes happen in every team, be it G2 or FNC, and its not your fault everytime. You guys still going to Worlds. I mean, eventually. Maybe next year.

@@RikkuChaser I dont think 'ridiculous' is a good word here. He changed teams because G2 was winning while he was not, and then, all of a sudden, G2's dominance is in jeopardy. It's very natural to think you're the failing piece, or maybe Perkz is way too much better than you. Both statements are false, but taking too much blame is a very, very normal step here. However, I do think he has enough of a winning behavior to get over it, regain confidence. I'm pretty sure G2 provides psychological help structure - it's a good time to use it.

Its sad Rekkles came to G2 at a time when a lot of teams got better but at the same time all of EU kept on glossing over every flaws of G2's gameplay and performance to a point where you can tell that those guys dont really know until they get smashed that thr opponent might be better even if they dont «int». Now they need to bounce back mentally as well as figuring out how to get better and improve. It's so hard to achieve in Rekkles' shoe but i hope they find a way cause their ceiling is higher than any other EU team and LEC needs them at worlds

For real. He's so stressed. He's been consistent and he plays great. I think people affect him a lot by saying that G2 is failing because of him. The new FNC roster doing this good, with Bwipo of course being amazing as a jungler with his game knowledge and letting a young top laner roll had been a great choice and with G2 losing a lot of games since Rekkles joined, it's just all bad timing and it just so happens that he seems to be the one to blame, although that's not the case at all. I hope he finds some peace withing himself, he has potential still and he's playing good at worst.

While it worked well before, Europe seems to have catched their level, and now a little bit of "we're not naturally the best anymore" might help. In his EUphoria participation, Rekkles said the team should play as everyone feels comfortable, but I feel that this is dangerous and they could deflect positive criticism by calling losses "luck" or "bad day". Maybe re-igniting the will to just be better can be a solution.

I have it kind of simiular to rekkles i think, where i say sorry alot but i found out that if i sometimes just say it short like "mb" or "sorry mb" you naturally don't think too much about it later on and it becomes easier to focus on what's happening right now and you don't think as much about the possible consequences that mistake or misplay you made earlier could have :D Rekkles probably doesn't read this but if he sees this I want to let you know that you and the boys got this and that mistakes happens and sometimes instead of trying to fix all of ones mistakes, it sometimes helps to just let some of them go :D

I feel really bad for Rekkles. For everyone else on the team, losses just kind of roll of their backs, they don't take it too harshly, they're still smiling and joking around, but for Rekkles, he takes everything so seriously and remembers all of his mistakes. Rekkles misses one thing: Every player in the world missplays. The thing is every other G2 player is like "Ok maybe I did 6 greedy plays and died 5 times, but that one time I teabagged him so hard the guy was so condused he took a lick". Rekki, we, and whole g2 team don't care if You int and lose a single game as long as You manage to show that Your balls are so big You can't teabag enemy without suffocating them. If You do, the wins will come. One of the happiest moments for me this split were when You did that Vayne Q into Fnatic. Sure, it didn't work, but You went balls deep and that's the moment I thought "OK this guy is finally becoming G2 Rekkles". PS Perkz was inting way more and we still loved him
