I want to see the guys from the KZbin Channel "The Baseball Bat Bros" tour this facility and get a custom bat precisely built to their preference then test it.
@danman10123 жыл бұрын
You should make some videos of a pro player coming in, start to finish to perfecting their bat. Small changes, tested in games, more revisions showing just what a pro player and you guys do to find the right bat specs for them

I want to be able to order a bat in turns (models not available to the public) that a professional uses with the same grade of wood!

Many of the vacuum kiln dried billets - 4" x 40" - come from Kloes Specialty Hardwoods in Clintonville WI. The wood itself originates in PA

Imagine if loiusville slugger invented some kind of super compression tank that was on par or above the pressures of challenger deep (deepest spot in the ocean) and compressed their bats that way to make them as hard as steel.

What do they do with all the reject billets?
@chadrides914 Жыл бұрын
think they sell them as series 3x
@t206kid Жыл бұрын
most of the bats they make are rejects, which is why very little players in the big leagues even still use them
@jayss108 ай бұрын
There are alot of signature/memorabilia bats they make. I would imagine most of those are the reject billets

@@sluggernation too bad the company in louisville screwed over many loyal employees in the factory and in the museum over the years, esp after covid hit (including me). Wilson should think twice about dealing with such an unethical company in Louisville

They did. Sam Crawford, all time major league leader in triples, used to make his own bats and even gave some of his creations to Babe Ruth

How is it that a company so legendary and dominant in pro and recreational baseball is losing market share to other brands? I recently started playing baseball after 16 years away from it, and it’s weird to see these new brands. Everyone is going crazy over marucci, chandler and Victus. I’ll stick with the old school stuff, Louisville Slugger for ash and Sambat for Maple.

Only 15% of MLB players use slugger. They have been going downhill ever since John Hillerich IV took over in 2000/2001 from his Father. Only reason company is still in business is because of the museum. Even the museum has gone downhill since Covid hit in 2020. The museum got rid of some amazing employees and tour guides and now all the tour is is videos and guides that are not knowledgeable
