Interesting story! Can i just clear something up please: when doing Istikhara you don't always get a 'sign' in a dream nor a sign as per say. That is what people assume. If you're doing it for a partner you should firstly do your own research on them, consulting people, asking about the person/family etc. Istikhara is the last thing you should be doing as you're now talking to Allah SWT asking Him to guide you. If you do get a sign then that's ok but it is a misconception that everyone does. As you have now consulted Allah SWT to guide you, you should not be asking anybody else about the person after, as Allah SWT is the final One you should be going to. Alhamdulillah you should just go ahead with it and if you feel that getting there is easy for you and you are able to, that is a sign in itself. For some reason if you're finding on the way it's not happening or there's many/major obstacles, that is a sign in itself! Thought i'd put it out there to clear misconceptions and help anybody else who is unsure about Istikhara💕
