You guys are adorable and so inspirational. When I watch your videos I am embarrassed that I'm so lazy. I am 75 and have always had passions that I've pursued but I've become lazy. I started dancing at 3. I will always think of myself as a dancer even though I studied theater and voice. My husband, who recently died, was a professional comedian. We lived in NYC for most of our marriage but never went to Time Square for New Year's Eve, which was generally a work night for my husband. He wouldn't have gone anyway. I met him as soon as I finished college where I majored in El. Ed. and taught for a short a time,. But we moved to NY where I taught dance and worked at Bloomingdales. Everyone at one or another works at Bloomingdales. I loved living in NYC. I felt like I prepared all my life to settle there. The people are fascinating, the culture is ubiquitous, the restaurants are divine, and the opportunities "used" to be great. I loved the convenience of not using the car for everything. I took classes incessantly. We moved to Florida, ugh, about 5 years ago and unfortunately my husband was progressively ill the entire time and I learned what is what like to be a 24/7 caretaker.. My 25 year old daughter also moved here and works with horses about 30 minutes from me. She went to Paris for college, speaks fluent French, and works in a horse barn. What can I say...it's her passion. Maggie, your coping skills are fabulous. I loved that you didn't get upset at the little things at your wedding, not even forgetting to exchange rings. You find joy in everything. I'm don't usually share ....no, I don't ever share so much on video comments, but you are very smart, eloquent, and and have a wonderful presence. I also appreciate your sense of humor, and Zak's. I think I can find humor in everything, even being married to a comedian, who are basically known to be very serious people. My husband was funny until he took his last breath. Thank you for your videos. I understand it's hard work. I'm thinking of making them myself. I made a few of taking care of my husband. I thought they were cute, and funny, but I was inundated with calls from his "agents" and friends who thought I was diminishing his dignity. He was a comic who shared everything on stage with strangers. He had no modesty and was not embarrassed to show who he was or what he was going through. What I learned from one of my mentors is that most actions in life are hiding actions. Everyone has issues but most people hide them. It's the people who are not afraid to share and be honest are the ones who inspire and teach others. Thank you my friend.

Tonight is kind of a downer for us. We usually celebrate with my family. Being Ukrainian Christmas Eve is huge for us. I have celebrated every Christmas Eve with my family and I’m 52. So tonight it’s just myself my husband and my daughter. My parents are in their 70s and we want to keep everyone safe.

I don't have Netflix, but I wish I did. I've spent today finishing my nails, wrapping presents (because I totally procrastinated), and loving on my dog. I also got a hug from my youngest son (he's 25 and has been offering hugs more often these days, kinda like when he was much younger 💜). Now when he hugs me though, it's much gentler! This sounds similar to my experience of New Years eve in London, done it twice! Once was like your first not being able to see crap, the second we got tickets for one of the specified areas and it was a good view but it was hell getting out to the station 🤣 they blockaded a long way round, but we managed to sneak out and make it to another station 😂

happy Christmas from the UK, Maggie when you talked about Zac as a fashion Meister it took me back to the late sixties (a different world) and in the UK when you went out you wore suits, well I was in Galveston (working in the merchant navy) for a couple of days and me and a 3 others were invited to a prom dance type thing , so suited and booted we went with a couple of local girls we knew, after around 30 minutes we were literally swamped by the local women thinking we were an English Group! so half the hall with us and the girls the other half full of local high school lads and of course a kerfuffle, cut a long story short we and the girls were taken by the local police to some hoedown just outside Galveston, talk about feeling out of place 4 suited and booted lads at a hoedown but we enjoyed it

Agree about NYC on NYE. Didn’t stand in Times Square but we went to a club party near there. Had to show our club party tickets to cops just to get down the streets and through the barriers. Worst decision ever lol
