So true. When my wife and I were slamming all available extra money at our debt, we watched several of our friends continue to rack up more debt “ living the good life!” They don’t skip vacations even when it means charging them. Now we are debt free and can pay CASH for the luxurious in life. Our friends- still bitching about being in debt, but won’t change their poor spending habits. They want to be debt free, but without the effort it takes to get there. SMH.

It couldn’t be much worse for me trying to deal with a Bad credit score so low as 467, Including 3 credit cards debts; mortgage loan, late payments and one thefts criminal record from 2017 reported on Experian, rent was due for Eviction couldn’t get any help too. I searched on how I could increase my Credit score then I came across Creditpatchup LLC, I decided to contact them at [e-mail], he responded and said the process will take 5 -10 business days. To cut the story short , all late payments cleared, credit card debts too are all gone and my score raised to 802. I feel like it’s all a dream, all thanks to [e-mail]

Side note. My oldest is a senior in high school and his best friend who’s also a senior has been living with us going on a year now as his family situation is sadly unstable and not the best for his well being. I also have a younger son. Between Christmas coming up, Senior year expenses (college applications, senior pictures, dances, events, cap and gown fees ALREADY) and both the older boys turn 18 in January! Luck would have it that their birthdays are only 5 days apart a few weeks after Christmas lol! Sooo girl please understand it gets frustrating and overwhelming and there’s people like me who look forward to your videos to stay motivated and on track when it seems like every other week life is trying to break the bank on me 🤦🏻‍♀️🙂!! Now you have a new subscriber!😁 I am currently using Dave Ramsey's snowball method to pay off debts as well. Since 2017 I have probably paid off about 17,000 in debts. In March of 2020 my car will be paid off. It truly feels good to not have every penny designated to pay a bill.

I have old accts in collections. I just paid off my smallest debt of $800 to Amazon. The next one is $1553 on Discover. Then $3500 on Amex . I'm just really tired of seeing these on my credit report. Anyways, thanks for the vid ! I need to see more like this one to keep me motivated.

I have an irregular income as well (commission based) and I think an "every dollar budget" is dangerous for those with irregular incomes. I do a weekly paycheck to paycheck (income to income) budget as well BUT I keep a certain % of my income each week in my checking to assure that a future low income week doesn't screw me over.

Shay Budgets 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 thank goodness! All I thought about were late fees lol. Have you thought about always keeping $500 in your acct as a cushion? Like when you allocate a debt amt each week, not letting the amt put you at less than $500+ your bills for the wk? That way you can still be super aggressive but you also know okay I have my bill money and I have extra in case of emergency...

TheRealCoachKe we wouldn’t have any late fees for paying it a day late but I obviously didn’t share that. And I used to do that but now I’m being a crazy person just trying to get this car paid off but ima chill now LOL that was the first and last time I tried to do that. Yikes And I’ve been thinking about paying all of our bills at the beginning of the month starting in January since our income is so irregular. That way at least all of our bills are out the way in case I wanna start being a crazy person again lololol

Shay Budgets yeah I was happy to hear you say in this vid that you wouldn't incur a late fee since you had a grace period 😊 You can pay all the bills in the beginning of the month OR every month you can wait until you all earn enough to cover the bills for the month before you start allocating towards debt and still keep that certain % in your checking to cover groceries etc. That's what I've been doing for the past 12 months. I saved my $12k for my mini and true emergency funds and paid off $14k in debt in that time frame (with just my income) and the only time I had a close call was when I moved a few mos ago. My acct got down to $500 cause I cashflowed everything. Anything under $1000 makes me panic lol.

TheRealCoachKe + ShayBugets you ladies really have me thinking. I have been on a fixed budget for 2 years now, due to a mva I was in which has lead me not to work. My monthly income has decreased by ~3000 since then. Which of course I've got behind in a lot of my bills, cc over limit/closed. Thank goodness for cc debt insurance. I will be using the snowball method to try to get ahead. Shay please don't stop sharing I love the content of this video, and it looks like a lot of other people do also.

Keep it up. You are doing a great job. I am doing the same thing. Once you pay down your cards I would suggest you cutting up that First Premier Card dont close it, that card company starts their Interest rate at 25% rather good or poor credit

But we work our ass off to learn from it!! Never going back that’s for sure!! It’s so hard on my husbands income also.. because sometimes he gets OT other times he doesn’t. 30% interest rate is high. I believe interest rates are based on your credit score. Some people use the Snowball method because it gives you short-term accomplishments. It's good to know to know the terms of your contract, interest rates, min payment and other conditions.
