The girl who plays Rae really shocked me with that Scottish accent, her fake accent in the show is very realistic.

The rave scene was so well done! Actually, that entire episode was solid, from the music, to the set, and the acting - they nailed it. :D

I love the attention to detail they put into this show all the way down to the music and the clothes.

I grew up in the 90s and 1996 was my absolutely favourite year of all time. I would give ANYTHING to go back and relive that time, and not just because it was my youth, but also because things really were simpler and less shallow back then. The way Sharon Rooney describes it from 2:21 - 2:36 is exactly how things are now, and exactly how it was then. Such a contrast and a massive change, and not for the better. I'm so glad I grew up back then. I don't think I would have enjoyed, or even survived my youth if I'd had to grow up in the superficial environment that the world has now become. I keep reading lots of comments from the youth of today saying that they would liked to have lived in the 90s, so it seems that even they don't like this social media-ruled, materialistic society either. I would love it if everyone admitted this in the real world, rather than just online, and consciously decided to go back to the way it was back then. They wouldn't regret it. Everyone would be so much happier, carefree, innocent and less self-conscious. I bet so many kids would love for this to happen. But I fear there is no way back now and that it will probably get even worse. And it makes me so sad.

bootyclaw Could not have said it better myself! I was born in '94 and I'm happy to say I'm part of the last generation that experienced a care free world. Being a child in the 90's was amazing and have so many amazing memories of those years, but I would have loved if the world continued with the same attitude it did in those day.

One thing I noticed that I liked about this show is they really do look very 90s. I was a teen in the 90s and I dressed like Rae almost everyday, the t shirts, flannels, jeans, chucks. Even the way they do Chloe's makeup is very 90s, really takes me back. The only thing is the leggings under the skirts thing wasn't as big maybe cause I'm in the US. Even the way the boys dress, they did a great job.

In my 40s now and I can honestly say the 90s was mint, some of the best ever tracks by the best ever artists. Must be that I am old but no music these days has the same impact as it did in the 90s

Respect to the 90's fashion but underground raves are waaaaay better now as far as production sound and lights go.

The music and fashion of the 90s was the shit! Soo glad this stuff is currently in fashion; and did they try to make Chloe is this episode look like the lead singer of Garbage?

Actually, a lot of what Rae wears, like the leggings and long, form - fitting shirts, aren't very '90s at all. It's very contemporary. Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with '90s fashion in England, but not all of it looks like the '90s to me, hee :P

The thing these guys just don't ' get' is that we all took E..( I bizarrely raved on acid because it didn't work in me) .They can't relate to it because today's British youth are a booze culture..different world & compared to now we had zero knife crime too in our big cities .
