@Yung CashZ No. The verse in the Bible that everyone is referencing is “Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”‭‭John‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬. Jesus is the bread of life and the word of God/Jesus is held within the bible so it was just kinda funny that she was keeping it in the bread box. I don’t think she was keeping it in there for that reason, it was just a coincidence.

Hey Kristen, Barista and Cafe owner here. I reccomend incorpering less air for a latte specifically you just want to hear the 'kissing sound' at the very beginning for about 5 seconds then raise the steaming jug until you dont hear it anymore, continue the milk vortex until its up to temperature. You don't want to go over 140 'f or you will lose texture that helps form the art. Also take about 30 sec to tap the access bubbles and swirl the milk before pouring. Dont leave the milk more than 45 sec before pouring or it will seperate. You should have about a pinky finger width of foam at the top of your latte. Just some tips I learned and train my employees with, blessings 🤗❣

Question wouldn’t that be considered a cappuccino instead of a latte? I’m just getting into making different types of coffee at work and that’s how we usually make cappuccino (but again I’m just starting out so I’m probably wrong😂)

@@luzdelalba18 This is how we do a latte at my cafe. Basically the latte should have more milk to espresso ratio and less foam than a cappuchino. For a cappuchino you should be incorperating air for longer than 5 secounds, (usually about 15 sec) the drink should consist of 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 foamed milk. Our latte (8oz) is also a diffrent size than our cappuchino (6oz). If you rest a teaspoon flat on top of the drink it should float for a cappuchino and sink for a latte. You will find different cultures and baristas define the latte and cappuchino differently. This is just how I learned and it works great for me and my customers.

I worked at Starbucks and cappuccinos have more foam in the milk than lates . We call it ‘the tearing paper’ sound. Usually a late is steamed for 3-5 seconds and cappuccino is 5-8 depending on how much foam you want. Espresso should pull between 18-24 seconds and then you pour the milk over in the first 10 seconds so the shot doesn’t die. It’s like coffee chemistry hahaha

I would recommend anywhere from 2-5 seconds! it definitely depends on the machine you're working with. I worked at starbucks for three years and their mastrenas took about 4 seconds, the one I work on now at a specialty coffee shop only takes 2 seconds. so I second Meghan, you have way too much air! just experiment and see what feels good for your machine :)

Madison Allen Not like the prices she talked about in her live. Most boxes are way more expensive and only have 1-3 items. I’ve found nothing like what she purchased, goodfair was the closest I’ve found too but you couldn’t get just a crewneck box it was a mix of crews and hoodies. And we’re here for the crews lol. Yes! Since getting married last year, my husband and I have always left our phones on charge outside of our room. It sort of let’s that space just be for us and allows us to focus on each other and God when we go to sleep and when we wake up! Highly recommend haha 😍

This Paper Cloth you mentioned is very common here in Europe. It produces way less waste as you can just use it multiple times and if it gets super dirty you just wash it in the washing machine and it is like new again - you can do this several times until the litte cloth is totally wrecked, then I use it for cleaning the bathroom and say thank you and throw it away. I regard it as a more sustainable and waste minimizing form of keeping your house clean.

Something fun to make with your earl grey, London fog latte. I’m a Starbucks barista, the recipe is really simple! 5 pumps of vanilla for 24 oz 4 pumps of vanilla for 16 oz 3 pumps vanilla for 12 oz Fill your cup halfway with boiling hot water, fill the rest with steamed milk or half and half :)

He’s so stinkin cute I can’t take it. Literally the cutest. Also had a similar story and had to give up breastfeeding at 3 months. It’s a hard thing to give up and feel good about yourself. You think, I should be able to feed my baby! But I am so grateful that there is formula for times like that. Fed baby is all that is important. My depression lasted over a year which was super super difficult. My anxiety was even worse. I never knew all of these feelings were even normal which made me feel worse. I think it’s so great and important to share our struggles in these times. I appreciate you sharing your story. And my goodness James is one of the cutest little munchkins I’ve seen. For your coffee I’d recommend only steaming the top of the milk for about 3 seconds and then pushing it to the bottom for the rest of the time

All teas have caffeine in it. It's the brewing time that makes it worse or not. So black tea has more caffeine because the water is hotter and you leave the bag longer. Green and white tea need colder water so they have less caffeine. 😊 And the embroidered yellow bird on your black sweatshirt is, I think, a goldfinch.

1. I love that Kristin’s dog voice kind of sounds like Marcus 😂😂 anyone else ever think this ?!? But ALSO !!!! Former barista here!!!!! The way I actually learned to make latte art was watching SLOW motion videos of people doing it. There’s a ton on IG and you can actually *SEE* what they’re doing step by step when it’s a slow mo. But ALSO - the best latte art is really with whole milk 😢 any other kind of milk is a different texture and it’s (still possible!!) but much harder to get the smooth latte art with it!!
