I still haven’t stuck my toe in the WhatNot water yet. I’m grateful for videos like this that keep me motivated and give me familiarity with all the processes. I’m surrounded by piles of inventory I’ve been saving to sell on WhatNot. Almost ready to dive in! Watch out for Old Lady Jo and her piano!

So when u ship 4 boxes does the person pay $8.77 x 4 ? Also does a small flat rate box cost the buyer the same as a large flat rate box

No, it depends on the weight and distance.

The shipping method is determined by whatnots algorithm.

Newer seller on whatnot and I’m just trying to figure out the best way for my buyers to have their items bundled for shipping and not have to fix my shipments before mailing them out because the flat rate boxes aren’t big enough etc. When you were talking about whatnot breaking up people’s orders how did that happen? Can you tell me what settings you have your shipping methods set to please? I also sell clothing just to clarify.

Hey! We never split up our packages manually. Whatnot automatically breaks up the bundles for it to be the most cost effective for both you and the buyer.

@@cayleyelaine So what do you have your shipping settings on for each level? I ran into an issue today after someone went over 5 pounds but it wouldn’t fit into the flat rate box. I think I might have the wrong settings clicked…..

Why would some shipping be something other than priority? Weight?

@justme-ki7im based on weight, where it's shipping from, and where its going, sometimes priority is cheaper.
