I really enjoyed this episode. I took my children out of their top ranked public schools during covid. I wanted to have copies of their school materials at home so if we were locked down I could better help my kids. The school administration would not tell me what textbooks or literature books my children would be studying because the teachers were allowed to pull their materials from multiple sources, which actually meant my kids never brought home actual textbooks to use for homework assignments. The school had achievement goals but no consistent tools to achieve those goals, exactly like the examples you all discussed. Memoria Press' curriculum is the reason why I am using full cores for my two children. I opened up the catalog and saw the plan for learning and I knew the education my children would get from these materials would serve them their whole lives. Some of the literature books used are ones I have fond memories of reading when I was a child. Others, like The Iliad and the Odyssey, are books I've heard about my whole life and have never studied myself. Homeschooling is hard enough without having to figure out what a successful learning path is for my children. Thanks for doing that for me.

It is our absolute pleasure to help you in this way. Your kids are an enormous blessing, and your choice to educate them classically is a joy and a privilege for us to play a small part. Bless you and your family in this year and the many to come!

Great episode! I would love to see an episode including a couple of homeschool parents who have implemented this curriculum with 4+ children. I have six children very close in age but not in skill level including a couple with special needs (dyslexia and auditory processing disorder).

Hey Tabitha! Thanks for reaching out. While we haven't done a specific podcast about families with many children (which is a great idea btw, thank you!), we do have an episode of our flagship podcast, The Homeschool Journal, that we think touches on a similar topic! It features two homeschooling moms with 6+ kids, kids with learning disabilities, and kids that have used the MP curriculum for over five years. Check it out here! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJnJd5eAeqeFZqc
