A few years ago the homeschooling group I was part of for 7 years, had issues with Math you see. Again it’s was the mid late 2000”s early 2010”s, Up to early 2015. It’s sounds like they improved it!. Glad 🙂 they fixed it! Division is higher way of subtraction as my mom explained it Few years ago with me tell your older daughter it’s just a higher way of subtracting! Cyber chase I used till rid of Commercial TV 12/1/2 years ago. They have DVD s the bird digit was really funny! I have the theme song in my head!

My daughters love Cyber Chase! Our local children's museum has a great exhibit featuring the show.

Are the lesson videos on the DVD that came with the kit or are they on a website? Thank you for taking time and explaining so much about homeschooling.

On the DVD. I believe with the website code you can also view them online, but I haven't used it so don't quote me.

Looks amazing! My kiddo is in G3 and we are using Right Start Math… it’s not working out to well. Which one would we start with? From the beginning? Thank you 😊

Follow the link from the Timberdoodle kit, I believe there should be a placement exam to help you decide.

I have a third grater that needs to start learning multiplication. But we have never used the math you see curriculum. Will she be able to understand the concept with the block manipulative or do we need to start a lower level so she can learn the block method first?
@MakingEverydayMagic3 жыл бұрын
We didn't start until second grade with my oldest and I feel like she picked it up quite quickly. I believe they have a placement exam on the Timberdoodle website. I know that Math U See also offers smaller condensed courses for the specific purpose of catching kids up. That may also be an option. I would look through the info on the websites and see if you can see what would be covered in the first few lessons to give you the best idea.

Thanks I’ll check that out.

I would like to see an example of longer division (3 or 4 digit) so I can see if I am confident we can do this. Would you mind? Or anyone who has delta? Thank you so much

We are back in the level with kiddo #2. It'll be coming up. Not sure when.

Do you supplement with other math workbooks?
@MakingEverydayMagic3 жыл бұрын
No, this is plenty of math. If you find that you need more worksheets, you can print them from the website with the digital access code.
