I’ve used it a few times now. It really hits the throat hard, so I think I’m going to start using a mask when I use it. I like to just spray it on in shade, clean the wheels and tires, and by the time I’m done that it’s ready to be rinsed off. I find that it cuts a lot of time off of my clay towel procedure. Most of the time there is very little roughness left to clay. Next time I do a clay though, I’m going to leave a section without Crystal wash to see how much it reduced the contamination before claying.

Wow! Loved it. Jamie the cleaner used it in direct sunlight and let it dry until it totally crystalized, which the label says NOT TO DO, lol he was in a cooler climate at the time. Like you said, paint should be cool to the touch. Then he just rinsed it off. So I got 2 gallons last week but haven't used it yet. Your video was excellent. I'm really looking forward to it. Tomorrow is the day. Also Monday's appointment. Thanks Phil. Fortunately for me the p&S factory is only an hour from my house and I talk to the guys a lot. So Monday I will give them a call to thank them for the product.

Are you using this process on coated cars? Both this acid wash and apc before contact wash? There are only a few times during the winter when I need a strong pre-rinse, but looking for a good strong wash, but it would still be a maintenance wash, would not want to remove coating.
@MirandaDetailing10 ай бұрын
@@punkish7 Hi. You can use it on coated vehicles. its completely fine. A true Ceramic Coating is not going to be easily removed with chemicals like this. in fact these products are formulated to use on coating to deep clean them.

Acids can be great. I watch an Aussie guy who does 25-75 hour details. So different to your business. I have zero affiliation but it’s car craft auto. (Detailing porn) I’ve gone back 6 years and watched his videos. He has changed in the last couple of years. He swears by an alkaline pre rinse and then an acid hand wash. I don’t use what he uses. But an alk at 20:1 followed by an acid wash at 100:1 is about $1.50 total. And wow does it work. You can seriously clean a car in 30 minutes and not hurt it. Great vid mate.

Been looking for a product to revive my coating. Had Gtechniq CSL added 15 months ago and the hood is FLAT. Not sure if it’s clogged or dead. I’ve properly maintained it too, but haven’t used high or low PH formulas, or and iron removers or clay towels.
@MirandaDetailing5 ай бұрын
Wow. Thats crazy. We have CSL on a ton of vehicles still going strong after 3 years. It could be clogged I guess. Depends on a lot of variables. For CSL I usually use the Gtechniq c2v3 spray. But you can use pretty much any ceramic spray sealant.
@gnawty46625 ай бұрын
@@MirandaDetailing everything was fine when I was using gtechniqs Citrus Foam and Gwash, but then I visited my parents… they have “water softeners” in their area. Combine that with a bottle of Turtle wax’s “max wash” found at the local hardware store, and things went downhill. I’m not sure if the water softeners or car shampoo, or both did it 🤦♂️
@MirandaDetailing5 ай бұрын
@gnawty4662 Oh! Interesting! Yeah water softeners have salt in them and that could have changed or something on the coating.

yo yo yo! i like using crystal wash like i would an iron remover, after a foam/rinse/wash and a light dry, i apply it with microfiber applicator uses waaay less product per panel. i may be wrong but i feel like using it that way really allows it to grab those stuck in doodoo’s that are under the big loose ones. my logic says let it grab what’s left after a wash, rinse the crystal wash and hopefully it’ll allow a even safer synthetic claying. ✌🏽🐿️💨

I’ve used wheel acid 100% on wet cars.almost always white cars that are dingey looking. Of course I was always very diligent to not let it dry on the car.i would put it on the car,wash with a soapy mitt and rinse thoroughly
@ItsMeYourRealDad10 ай бұрын
Wheel acid can be used on paintwork, but DO NOT get it on the glass. It could turn into a very expensive mistake. It can etch its way through glass, so it's probably best just to find a safer alternative that you can use on glass too like water spot removers, and, acid based soaps like carpro descale and this p&s acid wash

@@MirandaDetailing in my experience, if a car has a half decent protection and has dirt deposits as were apparent on your car, a pressure washer will suffice. If on the other hand it’s a three month plus build up of dirt then yes chemicals are needed. I’m not trying to be a d!ck but according to your video people might think this is a super product, which it very well may be but we need more info. I’m a big fan of your channel, thanks for the vids and advice.

Hi. Thanks for the info. Yeah I try to explain as much as possibly, but when I talk to much views go down unfortunately. It’s a catch 22. People want info but some are unwilling to listen to the entire video. Sounds like you actually watch and listen all the way through and I really appreciate that! I explain in tons of my other videos the exact reasons why I do or don’t do certain things. It’s difficult and sometimes redundant if I explain the same things over and over again. Usually I try to let people discern things for themselves. But people will be people and some stuff goes over their heads, logic wise that is. Thanks for the input! 😎👍🏼
