Girl i can relate im 32 years old my mom just thinks she can run my life the moment she calls and i dont answer its all hell breaks loose i had to check that so many times even with my fiance i had to immediately set boundaries early before the wedding because she does the absolute most omg i can relate so much to having a mom like that my mom has 7 kids im the closest to her so she just immediately has this thing in her mind that im 15 and she can talk to me any type of way im 2 years therapy in because im also starting to repeatedly see gaslighting behaviors its tough ❤but stay true to you love you guys ❤❤

I just got diagnosed with ptsd from a r a p e back in 1992 when I was in the Navy. I NEVER dealt with those emotions. All the jump scares, hyper vigilance, isolating for 30 YEARS!!! I had may oldest child at the age of 20. So a 20 year old mind raised my kids. Ever seen the movie Mommie Dearest...the wire hanger scene...I lived that shit, only I was getting out the bath tub when my mom beat me. There was no CPS. Come to find out, my mother was forced to give up a child at 15 years old. I vaguely remember her talking about her step father tryin to spy on her when she used the bathroom. Long story short I was basically raised by a 15 year old. My moms fav mantra throughout my childhood when Iwould complain was "Im doing the best I can" Now as a parent...I get it. Know that there are some things about your parents if you knew it would give you clarity about how they respond in your relationship. We cant give what we dont have or never been taught OR that was violently taken away. This is a season where we all have to heal TOGETHER💞 ✌🏿&💖

Those of us single parents who are just dealing with our old trauma raised awesome kids like you cause we were hyper vigilant to protect you from the shyt we went thru only to low key be jealous of your freedom and confidence. I have two sets of twins. My boys are 22, girls 11. My girls are so much more self aware and confident then I ever was but Im very careful about where they spend time and the influences around them. I went off on my son and his girlfriend one day cause not only did they have my car all night but didn't return until 1 the next day, brought food for everyone in the house but me and there was nothing here. I went super saiyan.🥴 I was screaming to the point of my head hurting. Yes they were wrong but I went off the charts with my anger. I kid you not, me going off on them was low key cause I haven't had dyck in forever and this heffa fukkin in MY HOUSE? If I aint getting none...I told her she was NO LONGER welcome in my house. I asked her how you ridin around in my car dont bring me any food you just as guilty as him. To add insult to injury they had went to like 3 different food places and I couldn't get a 99¢ burger at least...FOH After it was all said and done I realized I hadnt been true to myself. Was allowing my son to let his girlfriend sleep over when in reality I wasnt ok with it. Sometimes as parents we struggle at being honest without hurting others feelings. Also...when my mom died I realized i didnt even really know who I was...too busy walking on legos and eggshells barefoot around pink elephants. So many times things I say come out as angry cause I allowed myself to be surpressed so long its like jack in the box💥shit flying out everywhere. You two are so beautiful to watch together you literally look like sisters✨ ✌🏿&💖
