I have a 2018 Sport Tech Package. Got it for $20k brand new back in a December 2017. It has the 8 inch screen and navigation. Got 112k miles on it, been a great daily driver and on my 1 hour drive to work I was getting up to 38MPG! Only complaint it the transmission at low speeds with the DCT has started to be very jerky, almost like it wants to stall. Other than that it’s been a great car!
@PRNTestDrive2 жыл бұрын
We've heard the same thing when it comes to Hyundai's earlier DCTs, it seems to be something they've fixed with their latest generation but obviously won't make a difference on a vehicle like this. Hope it continues to work out well for you!

Has there been any problems

@@why8410Nope. Got over 117k now and still looks brand new. Hardly ever see another one on the road so has that level of exclusivity

I have one in white with a manual and love the car. It's my daily driver just a few bolt ons done to it. It's definitely a lil sleeper,surprises alot of people and beats/keeps up with things you wouldn't expect.

Awesome video! This Elantra sport will be signature car in the future. Always buy manual, it's more fun. It's perfect for Winter driven car. So many people driving in winter so no problem. It will be collection piece.. Still sexier than Elantra N

I bought a 2018 brand new for 19k and put 100k miles on it. It was totaled last year and insurance paid me 23k for it even after driving it for all those miles. I basically drove it for free plus made money on it but I still miss it. I just don't think it's worth paying nearly 20k for a used one considering I got mine for about that much brand new. Also the new ones look horrendous! I think the Forte GT looks so much better imo. But this version still looks better than both, I wish they kept this design.
@PRNTestDrive Жыл бұрын
That's one of the downsides of the used vehicle market right now, while you ended up getting a good deal from insurance you end up having to pay more for a vehicle to replace it. Ultimately the extra money you got will even out with a purchase.
@zahab210 Жыл бұрын
@@PRNTestDrive I actually ended up buying a used beater from the next state over for a couple gs and pocketed the rest. I'm probably going to save up a bit more until I see something worthy of an investment.

Same thing happened for me! I had less miles and my car was in a garage fire and gone 😢 I had no choice but to buy a new car in this crazy market. I miss it, it was the first car I purchased on my own as well

2017~18 models look really good the 2020 and current models I don’t like so much

The Korean brands have gotten quite aggressive with the design language on their most recent vehicles, for those who aren't quite interested in that, these models will be perfect.

front end and central part of the dashboard probably didnt aged as well as other part of the car. stearing wheel leather didnt looks great too, probably too thin, but as i verified on the hyundai at home, regular leather conditioning use help preserve the material.

Usually there's a switch on the turn signal stalk to turn off the fog lights on Hyundai vehicles.

Great video man!!! I'm an ES18 Owner and I love everything about it. I used to own a 16 base model Elantra and the ES tops EVERYTHING about it. (Except the cluster ngl...) But I have a big question for you? Was your Elantra sport made in america? I've never heard of an Elantra Sport having eco mode in between drive modes. I assumed it's because it's a sport and it's not supposed to. My vin starts with a K so I'm aware it's made in Korea, and the only other thing I can think of is if you're ES was Manufactured in a different country. Does your VIN start with a 1 or an A? If you can answer my question I'd really appreciate it! I'm just curious if that's the reason why I don't have eco.
