i love how they have a writer for jetlag, a completely non scripted show but i guess they're useful for coming up with challenges

I mean you gotta write the "board game" that is jet lag for that season, rules, challenges, possible routes like with the New Zealand season etc.

Every show needs to have a writer, even some podcasts that are non scripted have writing credits :)

the full time hire writing was for Half As Interesting at first. They then made the first few nebula originals (like documentaries and stuff) then crime spree and afterwards developed Jet Lag from crime spree. But Adam still had a parted job between writing for HAI and JT and transitioned to full time JT after a few seasons.

He was a writer for HAI and wendover, not jet lag. Jet lag is not written by any one person, it is an amalgamation of ideas from the three of them.
