BI is gonna go. They just haven’t got it worked out yet. Jarrett Allen was rumored to be in the market. Front office making moves. They definitely ain’t giving BI no max contract. CJ don’t need to go. He needs to be an off-ball guard because that’s what he IS and that’s where he shines, and with Murray, he can do that. CJ has embraced the city fully. Nobody should want him gone.

Most people I’ve heard want BI to go and TM3 to take his spot in the starting lineup. And then if we had someone like… Jarrett Allen… since we let Jonas walk… I think that would be nice. We don’t need BI to sit on the bench and pout anymore.

Ingram played that playoff games on one leg, He was injured previous to the playoff and never played with the same confidence after that. Pay Ingram (hope he resigns a little at least) he will cook this season. Now my question: Is Trey (if he gain some muscle this summer) capable to defend the 5? a lineup with Murray, Herb, Ingram, Zion and Trey is perfect, we have spacing for Zion (since Herb is a improved shooter) and a really good frontcourt defense, the length should be enough to contain penetrations. Also having CJ as 6th man is a luxury.

I would be open to Trey defending fives if he bulked up a bit like you said, but I would imagine that Zion would get the assignment of doing so and be more than able to hold his on. He's already more than strong enough and I'm actually subscribing to him being a rim protector with how he closed last season. Here's to hoping that Willie will actually have the strength to bring CJ off the bench, if he does the Pelicans starting five can be filthy.

Pelicans need a role player in the 5, solid rim protector. Some depth in the 3-4-5 And very solid team of 7-8 players. Maybe not the deep as last year but better pieces and fit in the first 5-7 players

The Pelicans are really scary when healthy... I'm really hoping they can stay healthy, especially with Murray being added for so little.... But I'm really concerned for both Ingram and Zion... If they are at full power, they will be a real problem for everyone... They are my dark horse for next season for sure, like Dallas was for me when they brought in Gafford and Jones jr (I thought they were horrible outside of Luka and Kyrie before that) I think they really filled in the PG/SG spot nicely with Murray... He can shoot/score, he can defend, I think he is a much better fit with them then he was in ATL, he should get way more easier shots and have more energy on D, which I still think he has a lot of potential to prove he is a great defender. ATL sucks balls and this is a horrific move for them lol... I think/hope they are blowing it all up....... I love my man Bogdanovic, but I hope he asks for a trade... And Trae as well... That team sucks ass right now and this move made 0 sense for them, they didn't get shit in return.

It can be true that both BI was injured at the end of the season, including during the playoffs, influencing his performance. It can also be simultaneously true that BI was an awful fit with Z last season, both being ball-dominant iso players that struggled to involve each other. You go into the season knowing that you need spacing for Zion and to shoot 3's. BI was reluctant to shoot 3's, hampering the fit. Something's got to give.
