Thanks for the explanation! I started the gym again a few months ago. The preworkout I’m taking everyday has 5mg. I don’t workout every day (2-3 time a week) . I just consume it slowly throughout the day as an energy booster. I noticed I had phenomenal last reps strength. I could give another two reps no problem. Now it’s dying down on me. Perhaps I should up to 10mg a day as you mentioned. I’m 6ft4 205-210lbs. Pretty big on a strict carnivore diet💪

This was real helpful. I've tried all kinds of muscle supplements throughout the years and I could never tell any difference. But creatine I could tell a difference for a change. This stuff is helpful even without a perfect diet.

There's no point in loading. Makes zero difference. You're only wasting money by using too much at one time for a period of time. 5g is all you need per day.

3-5g daily is more than enough, everything above that is unnecessary(unless you decided to have a loading phase which is also unnecessary). And yes, it will cause water retention which will have an impact on your weight, however, it is water weight and nothing to be worried about.

Most people will get max benefit from 3g per day. Bigger people (100kg+) will probably need 5g per day. If you take a 5g scoop every day you'll know you're covered. Going higher than this will just result in excess creatine flying straight out the end of your tip.

Sorry but it absolutely does matter when you take it if you happen to be using a pre-workout with caffeine because we all know caffeine essentially cancels out the benefit of the creatine if taken at the same time.
