Newer models only 2018 is last generation ,they start this on 2019 I believe

No, you can change drive modes on the fly!

For like a Baja mode I'd put it in AUTO, turn off traction control and lock the rear lockers if you have it. But only if you are on dirt, sand, or snow. You could even put it in sport mode too!

You could but shouldn’t unless it’s icy, snowy, etc. im not an expert I do drive a Silverado though and I believe 4 wheel drive would make you drift on regular road.

My truck has 2 high, 4high, offroad, sports, trailer mode and auto. The auto only says auto. Is that 4wheel auto?

@@yoooo5542it’s auto mode meaning it will drive the front wheels if it needs to. It’s not full 4wd. So driving in auto for daily is fine.

i noticed it resets to normal slower then shit mode on every restart. You have to put in sport mode every time you start it. 😒

@@Lifehackz137 seamed to have better throttle response but i dont have 500 miles on it yet. So haven't hammered on it. its sitting at the shop waiting for wheels and tips to get out of powder coat. Glacier Blue and gloss black

May have to update software, always on sport mode when mine starts with the active exhaust and 6.2 sounds incredible
