Not true. Kanan just does not take turns to be useful. Ezra is somewhat useable with JML early on, then they fall off the face of the earth.

Not really. See, new player events are doable with g8/9. You want them in the minimum requirement of g8 or 9. Don't get them any higher.

I used to call Zeb to assist with Ezra's special, I found dazes and stuns more useful especially during Thrawn event

yeah, sometimes you really need those dazes and stuns! Thrawn event is a different breed

Gotta say early on, at least Ezra seems pretty nice with his assist skill, and the fact that he has a chance to double attack per one turn is just super. Dunnow about the others yet though. Ezra is just the easiest to get, like I got him on 4 stars already. Thanks for the vid definitely gonna use it for reference as I level up.

When I started playing I fell in love with all of Ezra's damage and didn't understand how people though Phoenix was such a bad team - just doesn't scale for later sadly!

You forgot to mention that buffs from choper have a chance to reduce allies cooldowns so that's why you want omega so when he assists he reduce cooldowns which can give more turns for ezra or keep taunt of kanaan (he lose taunt 1 turn before ha can retaunt). That's also a reason why I prefer targeting choper with Ezra's assists instrad of hera so he can give even more buffs.

Ahhh yes - good point! I do think by the time you get to omegas it might be a little more investment into Phoenix than they're worth, so I was mainly trying to advise for really low level Phoenix play, which is where I think they belong

If I had only known what I was doing when I started my account. I didn't understand synergy so I just upgraded the characters I had and only went for character that where easy to get. I didn't understand what journey guide was at first so I had no idea I should be going for the any of them . . . I was about level 60 when I started taking a deeper look into peoples kits and noticed synergy. That's when I went for empire and finally got on track, I realized what journey guide did and quickly unlocked r2-d2 and yoda. Anyway, if I could have made myself go for phoenix I would have, would have been really helpful. Great vid, keep up the good content!

Sabine is a good enough substitute for ezra. Also, Ezra is way better as a jedi than he is as a phoenix. so in the beginning you might want to pair ezra with your jedis early on and have sabine for phoenix. Calling zeb to assist to daze and stun provides a lot of control. Do not underestimate that as shown in the video. Also, phoenix ships are good in home1 and profundity fleet later on. 7* phoenix means 7* star rebels. That will provide emperor palpatine and thrawn, who are both empire and a good start to your next team. Complete the team with DV and Mara. But there is limited use for phoenix chars themselves later on. barely a need to go beyond g11 unless they are a requirement for GLs etc. in my eyes.

Hera is actually hard node now! But yes, those are decent points as well, but some are later game concerns not really what I was going for

yeah, just wanted to point out, that phoenix' contribution is more than just themselves. It provides good fleet ships and access to 2 good characters as well. I didn't realize that hera now is hard node instead of cantina. Thanks for the hint, corrected that part.

Really depends on what low level gear you find yourself needing the most! I also for MkV datapads for bronzium wiring

They're all so easy to get... EXCEPT Hera... like there is nowhere to buy her or get her beside in 1 battle node, and the drop rate is just depressing, getting 2 shards per day. Prepare to grind I guess

It will take a little longer to get to the stars required for unlocks, but I think it will be smoother overall. Can finish off Ezra first and move to other Cantina farms, and Hera doesn't gain as much from the star level in combat either

Been focusing phoenix since I started, 2 months ago and I still don't have Hera or Sabine at 7 stars, Hera is 6 and Sabine 5
