Thank you so much Matt! I really like the explanation of the "why's" in addition to the the demonstrations of the techniques. It helps when deciding where to start and stop the detuning. This is the most thorough video I have found on this topic!

Just got my first New board, a Burton Custom (camber). I've had some say to don't detune anything and ride it first,while others say do the tip/tail (I'm an all mountain rider). What's your suggestion?
@PeterGlennSports7 ай бұрын
It’s up to you. Like Matt said in the video, there’s absolutely no drawback to detuning the tips. Just make sure you don’t detune the contact points. Enjoy the ride 👍

Hey, Matt... How do I find out what my board's sharpening angle is? Specifically m 23 Ride Shadowban... Can't tell if it's 90 / 88 ? Ha... Just don't want to run a 90 on it if it indeed should be another angle. Any ideas where I should look to find that exact degree? Ha, I've feels like Ive searched everywhere

All boards pretty much come from the factory at 90 degrees unless that have a specific bevel for riding rails. When it comes to the different angles its 100% up to you. If you like the board where its at do 90, if you want a little more bit try the 88. You can always take it back to 90 if you want
