1995's Whisper of the Heart by Studio Ghibli might be masterpiece. Its insights into creativity and what it takes to polish your craft is something you might not see in every family film. This one is for the dreamers out there, the people driven by a need to create.
I didn't think I could relate to a character as much as I did Shizuku Tsukishima, the 14-year-old girl who is the main character of the film. But some struggles are universal and this film really ignited my passion for all things creative. And in this video, I explain why.
