They feel it's guidelines and know they're important yet don't think they should "strive" to keep them bc then they feel they are "working " for their salvation. Another answer is they believe "lawlessness" is evil doing... not disobedience to the Torah... it's just crazy!! I just pray for God to open their eyes... that's all I can do.

The big issue for them is defining what “following God” means. The 10 Commandments (with or without the 4th)? The Torah? “Love God/love neighbor”? (Mal 3:6, Mal 4:4!!)

Really enjoyed this. The Torah was given for the proper administration of justice. This understanding is foundational for defining other biblical concepts such as sin, salvation, and eternal life. Q. What was God’s goal in giving the Torah? A. The Torah was given as instruction for the proper administration of justice - Exodus 18:16; Exodus 18:19-20; Deuteronomy 4:8; Deuteronomy 28:15; Romans 10:4-5; Romans 13:7-10; Galatians 3:23-25; Hebrews 4:12-13 Q. What is love? A. Love is the fulness [the full expression] of Torah [God's instructions for justice]- Romans 13:8 Q. What is sin? A. Sin is the transgression of Torah’s goal - Isaiah 64:3-6; 1 John 3:4 Q. What is grace? A. Grace is the unmerited provision of instruction, discernment, patience, forgiveness and redemption for justice - Psalm 119:29; 119:64: 119:88; 119:116-117; 119:124-125; 119:135 Q. What is faith? A. Faith is “being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see” - Hebrews 11:1; Isaiah 59:9-11; Romans 8:24-25 But what is “hoped for” but “not seen”? - True justice! 9 This is why justice is far from us, and righteousness doesn’t catch up with us; we look for light [discernment for justice], but see only darkness [injustice], for brightness [justice], but we walk in gloom [injustice]. 10 We grope for the wall like the blind; like people without eyes we feel our way; we stumble at noonday as if it were dusk, we are in dark places like the dead. 11 We growl, all of us, like bears [hungering for justice - Matthew 5:6 “How blessed are those who hunger and thirst for dikaiosune/justice! for they will be filled”] and moan pitifully like doves [thirsting for justice]; we look [hoping] for justice, but there is none [to be seen]; for salvation [the restoration of true justice in the world], but it is far from us. Isaiah 59:9-11 CJB 24 It was in this hope [for true justice] that we were saved. But if we see what we hope for, it isn’t hope - after all, who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we continue hoping for something we don’t see, then we still wait eagerly for it, with perseverance. Romans 8:24-25 CJB Q. What is salvation? A. Salvation is the restoration of true justice in the world by the hand of the Messiah - Psalm 119:155; Isaiah 33:5-6; Isaiah 56:1 Q. What is eternal life? A. The perpetual sustainment of true justice forever by the Messiah. 6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us; dominion will rest on his shoulders, and he will be given the name Pele-Yo’etz El Gibbor Avi-‘Ad Sar-Shalom [Wonder of a Counselor] [for justice], Mighty God [enforcer of justice], Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace], 7 in order to extend the dominion and perpetuate the peace of the throne and kingdom of David, to secure it and sustain it through justice and righteousness henceforth and forever [eternal life]. The zeal of ADONAI-Tzva’ot will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6 CJB 17 And the work [fruit] of [Yeshua’s] righteousness [right justice] will be peace [salvation], and the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever [eternal life]. 18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places; Isaiah 32:17-18 CJB 4 “Pay attention to me, my people! My nation, listen to me! For Torah [instruction] will go out from me; I will calm them with my justice as a light for the peoples [John 8:12]. 5 My righteousness [justice] is at hand, my salvation goes out, my arms [of justice] will judge the peoples. The coastlands are putting their hope in me [for justice - for salvation], trusting in my arm [of justice - Isaiah 53:1] . 6 “Raise your eyes toward the skies, look at the earth below. The skies will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like clothing. Those living on it will die like flies; but my salvation will be forever, and my justice will never end [eternal life]. Isaiah 51:4-6 CJB 39 You [Pharisees - you unjust judges] keep examining the Tanakh because you [mistakenly] think that in it [by the hand of humanity - Job 40:14] you have eternal life. Those very Scriptures bear witness to me [God in the flesh], 40 but you won’t come to me [the Living Torah] in order to have [eternal] life! John 5:39-40 CJB Q. What is the relationship between “the Law” and “grace”? A. While the written Torah (“The Law”) was given by God for life & for salvation, the written Torah cannot produce salvation (the restoration of justice in the earth) by the hand of mankind (unjust judges - devoid of God’s perfect wisdom to discern justice, and perfect strength to enforce justice). However, the written Torah taught and properly administered for justice by Yeshua will result in everlasting life and salvation - Acts 3:19-21; Acts 4:12 Q. Why is Yeshua referred to as the "cornerstone"? A. He is hewn from the quarry of God's justice and has become the foundation stone of God's throne of justice - Psalm 89:14; Psalm 118:22-23; Isaiah 28:16; Ephesian 2:19-22; 1 Corinthians 3:9-12 “Listen to me, you pursuers of justice, you who seek ADONAI: consider the rock [of justice] from which you [‘stones’] were cut, the quarry [of justice] from which you were dug - consider Avraham your father and Sarah, who gave birth to you; in that I called him when he was only one person, then blessed him and made him many [Romans 5:19]. 3 For ADONAI will comfort Tziyon, will comfort all her ruined places, will make her desert like ‘Eden, her ‘Aravah like the garden of ADONAI. Joy and gladness will be there, thanksgiving and the sound of music. 4 “Pay attention to me, my people! My nation, listen to me! 5 For Torah [instruction for justice] will go out from me; I will calm them with my justice as a light for the peoples. 5 My righteousness [right justice] is at hand, my salvation goes out, my arms will judge the peoples. The coastlands are putting their hope in me, trusting in my arm. Isaiah 51:1-5 CJB 7 But when Yochanan saw many of the P'rushim and Tz'dukim coming to be immersed by him, he said to them, "You snakes! Who warned you to escape the coming punishment? 8 If you have really turned from your sins to God, produce fruit [of justice] that will prove it! 9 And don't suppose you can comfort yourselves by saying, `Avraham is our father'! For I tell you that God can raise up for Avraham sons from these stones! Matthew 3:7-9 CJB

We must always keep in mind that the judgment is not like what we have in an earthly courthouse. God is not looking through books, checking them twice, seeing who's naughty or nice. His judgment is NEVER unto condemnation. God's judgment is always RESTORATIVE. Yeshua says "the Father judges no man" (Jn. 5:22) and then says He Himself "judges no man" (Jn. 8:15). Every case will be decided by US - we all judge ourselves according to how we judge God. God's justice is not about killing His enemies. His justice is ALWAYS mercy (Ps. 89:14). Notice what true judgment is in this verse: “Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother: And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.” (Zechariah 7:9, 10) True judgment is to show mercy, compassion and to not imagine any evil against another. Our Father loves His enemies is always "kind to the evil and to the unthankful" (Lk. 6:35). His judgment is to save and heal everyone who will accept it. Anyone who is judged without mercy is being given the justice system they themselves practice. If you believe and practice a justice system that demands death, then that's the judgment you will receive; "For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy" (James 2:13). It is not God withholding His mercy from the sinner, but the persistent sinner not believing in God's mercy because of their warped idea of God's justice. God cannot force His way in, therefore He tearfully gives the unbelieving sinner over to their own thinking. The biblical judgment process is not about a court scene from Law and Order, but about a doctor's visit to the Good Doctor. He is looking through our "books" - our health records, to DIAGNOSE our sin problem. If a doctor diagnosis you with cancer, they don't chastise you and want to cause you harm. They want to give you a remedy to help the healing process. God doesn't reveal our sin to condemn us (He has never condemned anyone), He reveals sin in order for us to acknowledge it, confess it, and be cleansed of it. The Remedy He gives is His Son Yeshua who, by His holy Spirit, will dwell in us, healing us from the act of sinning (stepping out from within His protective hedge/laws of life) from the inside out until we have clean records - a clean bill of health - no more sinning. We will be Christlike (non-condemning and non-violent, loving God and loving others as revealed in His Law).

My focus is verses 14 & 15... ****** [Rom 2:12-16 NASB20] 12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; 13 for [it is] not the hearers of the Law [who] are righteous before God, but the doers of the Law [who] will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law instinctively perform the [requirements] of the Law, these, though not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, 16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus. By that…Is the Gentile accountable to The Law as defined in Jeremiah 31:33? ****** So far only 1 person has replied back with a single word. "Yes"

Isaiah 56:2-3 “Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast; who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Let no foreigner, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying, “Yahweh will surely separate me from his people…” Seems like the “foreigners”(modern day churchianity) think that Yah has separated them from his people by “abolishing Torah!”

Romans 14:12 tells us this. There are no exceptions, for Paul says, “each of us ”; and the account we shall give is of ourselves - not of others. It will be revealed then: 1. Whether we have sought to live for God’s glory - or for self-pleasing (2 Corinthians 5:15). 2. How we have used our time (John 9:4; Ephesians 5:16). 3. How we have used our money, possessions, property (Matthew 6:19-21). 4. Whether we have been concerned to seek and to save the lost (2 Corinthians 5:11). 5. Whether we have been faithful in prayer (Luke 18:1). 6. All the words we have spoken …(Matthew 12:36). 7. Our attitude towards our brethren… (Romans 12:10; 14:10; Galatians 6:1; 1 Peter 5:5). 8. Our work will have to be accounted for (1 Corinthians 3:13).

achuk Zach, well done! Congrats. You know, you have stepped on a million toes with it, but that is OK. I heard it too that the law was nailed to the cross and that means we are free to (1) worship other gods, (2) make graven images and bow ourselves down to them, (3) use the name of God in vain, (4) profane the seventh day, (5) dishonor our parents, (6) murder, (7) commit adultery, (8) steal, (9) bare false witness and (10) covet. Another good excuse I heard was that I only need to do the “moral laws”. My standard follow up question “you’re saying God gave immoral laws too?” Then, I’ve been told that the opposite of moral is ceremonial and that the opposite of life is choice.

Jesus Christ is the son of God who died and rose three days later and loves all of you. He died for everyone and wants you with Him, to know Him and live for His glory. Come be saved eternally and spend time with Him to know Him. Be saved, free, forgiven, healed, delivered, baptized, whole and let Him show you how He is everything you need.🕊️💕Living righteous and Holy because He said to and paid for our way to live like Him. Ask anything in His name and the Father will do it amen hallelujah praise God thank you Jesus . 🙏 🕊️ I lift up everyone's prayers, wants and needs to You Jesus, please pour out blessings. May Your favor, grace and mercy be upon the world. In Jesus name come help us all. You know our needs and everything else about each of us. In Jesus name amen thank you Jesus praise God 🙏💖 Jesus, Help people to be rooted and grounded in Your love and to obey You. That they are living in the truth being taught by You. That they know Your voice and word. We are ambassadors of Christ. We represent God, when we are seen Jesus should be seen, His ways not ours. We should be living for and showing God, living for His glory. We are to be an example of Jesus for the world to see Him and want to know Him and know Him more. 🙏 💖 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, if My people humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways I will hear them from heaven and heal their land. 🙏 People need to turn from their wicked ways, Jesus paid for it. That's God stating it in that verse and there are more verses. People need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏 Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness. 🔥🕊️🙏💖 He's worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Jesus said If you love me you will obey my commands. Praise God thank you Jesus. In Jesus name. 🔥💖🙏🕊️💖🙏🔥🕊️

Mathew 5:17-18 tells us that he did not come to do away with the Torah. That means Torah is still law and in effect. Breaking Torah is sin. Sin is the separation from YHWH. My goal is to be as close as possible to YHWH so I do my best every day not to break the laws written in the Torah. For me the Christian religions seem to make almost everything a sin except what really is sin. I need to know what was sin and in doing the research I found that it is much easier to follow the laws written in Torah than it is to follow the church. Learning what is breaking the law really makes it easier than trusting someone who wants you to behave a certain way.

I see what you’re saying but I was told there really is no word for law and I checked into it and it is true it’s actually Torah which means teaching and guidance? I know its a small nuance but there does seem to be a difference that implies freely choosing to learn and follow and do righteousness? Maybe it doesn’t matter but it’s something I think about and was wondering how you would look at it. Thank you for your videos, they’re really helpful since I only recently came to understand Torah isn’t done away with.

So if “Torah people” speak with so much confidence “down to others” (who are committing the same sins the Torah people have committed their entire lives) solely because they’ve “repented” and now they’re on a different level because they repented long before these others have (as if Yah Himself had come down and already told them “well done My good and faithful servant”) when in fact they’re still carrying the same burdens of sin everyone else is because let’s say for some we’ve lived 40 years of sinful lives but now try to change our ways in regards to what we eat, what we celebrate, and when we work or not for the last 5-10 years or so, what makes them any different than those who have not yet repented of these handful of false observations? I’m reminded of a parable myself.. Matthew 20:10-16 NKJV But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, saying, 'These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.' But he answered one of them and said, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?' So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen." I love people that are changing their ways to follow Yahuah because they’ve had their eyes opened to their mistakes and have finally decided to give it up after many years of doing what they wanted. But what makes me scratch my head is why these same people can sit themselves down in Yahs judgement seat and speak on behalf of Him as if they’re already declared saved and others are in danger because they haven’t realized yet and those who have finally come around are waiting on them.

I’m truly trying to take all this in and have a question. So are we saying then, that every Christian in the past several hundred years, that believed in the grace of their faith in Jesus Christ are in Hell and not Heaven? How do we make sense of Ephesians 2:15, “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of Twain one new man, so making peace”
@ShepperdOneill2 жыл бұрын
"ordinances" in the Greek text is δόγμασιν (dogmasin - aka dogma). Gods law and commandments are not dogma. Dogma, in the scriptures, is always used in references to decrees of men. These decrees in Ephesians 2:15 are the rules and commandments of the Pharisee, (study Shammai and Hillel on the topic of Gentiles). Gods law never said that the two groups Paul speaks of here could not become one (Jew and Gentile). The context of Ephesians 2 is Jew and Gentiles becoming one new man. No one goes to heaven or hell when they die. We sleep in the grave until the resurrection. No one is pre-judged, or pre-rewarded before the judgment. It is only at the judgment that the books are opened and we are judged. If God were to send anyone to hell or heaven before the books are opened, He would not be a just judge. "Hell" is just the grave. Hope this helps.

Why do you keep asking who will and will not be saved? None of us could possibly know that; only YHWH knows whose names are written in the Book of Life.
@samanthac88622 жыл бұрын
@@clickwhistle I suppose it comes from a grasping to understand. This is all very new to me. I see hundreds and hundreds of years of Christianity that doesn't seem to believe/know what is being taught here about Torah. In many ways it makes sense, but if this was the only truth then that means all of those who have lived and died before believing in Jesus for Salvation have died in vain. That just seems so hard to wrap your head around. Wouldn't there be some mercy for those believing in His son? These are just thoughts I wrestle with. Jesus says in Matthew 5 that those who teach not to do the commandments will be least in the Kingdom, so does that mean that maybe they make it in, just won't be as great as those who do? I don't know. Just a lot to understand. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to help me.
@clickwhistle2 жыл бұрын
@@samanthac8862 It is hard to grasp that YHWH is perfect. His judgment is perfect. His justice is perfect. His mercy is perfect. Your concerns are quite human, but please remember that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. You may recall the parable of the one lost sheep? (Matthew 18:12-14, Luke 15:3-7) Do you think that it is even possible for YHWH to lose one His own? He knows His sheep and He will find them and bring them home.
@tbishop49612 жыл бұрын
I think one thing people neglect or spoil in this discussion is God's "feelings" about sin. We may see description of "anger" "jealousy" "regret", etc in torah, but the fact of the matter is that these are attributes of limitation and not of a limitless God. We don't have these instructions because God is "angry" when we sin. We have them because anger, hatred, jealousy, sadness, result in our lives when we ignore them If I steal your cattle, is God at a loss? No. He still has them. It is you who has lost and it is you who will be angry, sad, hungry, distrustful of neighbors The law is about the cause and effect nature of the world God has made for us and judgement day doesn't come when you die.. it's every single day

Wait. Wasn’t Peter reprimanded when he chopped that servant’s ear off in the garden? Weren’t James and John reprimanded for wanting to sit on Yeshua’s right hand? I agree with what you’re saying but these two came to mind. Strangely, Aaron could have been stoned or worse for making the golden calf. One more. Manasseh was one of the wickedest kings of Judah. He ruled for 55 years and set up all kinds of idols, altars and made his son(s) pass through fire. Yehovah would have been totally justified in destroying him. Instead, he got an illness, cried out to Yehovah and was granted mercy. He then undid many of the evils he had set up (true repentance). 2 Chronicles 33:12 “And when he was in affliction, he besought Yehovah his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, 13 And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yehovah, he was God.” 2 Chronicles 33:15 “And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city. 16 And he repaired the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.” The point is, Great Mercy is possible from our Mighty God. Manasseh, however, repented. Then he did what he could to repair damage he had done. If we’ve ignored or rejected the commandments, we can correct our errors now while we are still breathing.

@tbishop49612 жыл бұрын
Oral law was born in response to written commands being vague. If yhvh commands you to slaughter animals "only in the way I've shown you", where do you find techniques for slaughter mentioned in torah? How do you know what is "the way I've shown you"? There are some well established rules for debate/discussion that rabbis followed to come up with competing but "equally valid" understanding of the law Also related to this are the vowel markings which weren't present jn paleo script and without which a wide variety of meanings is possible
